Pt 10
A few days after Girl's Night, Sunny was bringing her husband his lunch. She hadn't seen him all morning, which was fine by her but often he made at least one appearance throughout the day. She knocked on the door of his office, listening for him to bid her entrance, but she instead heard a cry of pain.
She didn't wait, throwing the door open and rushing into his office.
Buggy was there, head swinging from Crocodile's hook as his body lay crumpled on the floor. This wasn't the first time Sunny had seen it, but to hear the pain he had been in startled her. Buggy looked at her, face bloody and bruised again, and she just stood by the door in shock.
"The clown told me he was in love with you." Crocodile told her as he tossed Buggy's head aside. It rolled away, still crying in pain, as Sunny took a few steps into the office. "What do you say to that, darling?"
"I... don't know why he'd do something so foolish." Sunny said as she set the tray of food down, watching Buggy as his head returned to his body. "That was dumb."
"See, clown?" Crocodile chuckled as he grabbed her by the hand, pulling her into his lap. "I should double your debt for that."
"You'd never get it back." Sunny said as she looked up at her husband. "He wouldn't be able to pay."
"Are you defending him, my darling?" He asked as Buggy started to sit up, holding his hand to his nose as it bled. "Don't tell me you like him."
"He's a good dancer." She shrugged. "You didn't dance with me at the party and made him do it. How could I not like him when he was so nice to me?"
"C-Can I leave?" Buggy whined; Crocodile kept his attention on Sunny while pointing the hook in Buggy's direction. She wouldn't look at him, keeping her attention on her husband. She couldn't look at Buggy. If she did she was afraid she would start crying for him, feeling guilty he was injured because of her.
"Stay away from her." Crocodile warned him. "Do not talk to her, look at her, or even think about her, clown. Do you understand?"
Buggy looked at Sunny; she wouldn't look at him. He hated this. He didn't want it to be like this, he wanted to be with her, but this was impossible. There was no way to fight for her and win.
"I-I understand." He did but he didn't want to, he wanted to keep seeing her, even if it was just to see her smile at him and never said a word. It wasn't fair.
"Get the hell out of here."
Buggy got up and left at the command, only to look back to see Crocodile pull Sunny to him for a kiss. She allowed it, putting her arms around him, running her fingers through his hair. Why, why, why did this have to happen? Why did Buggy have to fall in love with her and tell her husband? Why did he think Crocodile would be understanding and show him mercy?
He stormed out, flinching at the pain in his side where Crocodile had kicked him earlier. He was going to bruise from that. Everything hurt and the only medicine he wanted was the alcohol Alvida had stashed in her room.
~
"I think you were too harsh on him." Sunny said as she laid curled up next to Crocodile. He was on his back, hook gone with his left arm behind his head and his right arm holding Sunny to him, letting his hand stroke her arm gently. "He's an idiot."
"Then why did he barge into my office to tell me he loved you?" He asked. Sunny shrugged, running her hand over his chest slowly, tracing faded, lingering scars along his skin. He shuddered when she did that. "He's lucky you came in when you did. I was about to gut him."
"Ugh, it'd get all over your shoes." She reminded him as she draped her arm over him. "I'm glad you didn't."
"Hm." His hand stopped and he looked down at her. "What are your feelings for the clown?"
Sunny sighed and closed her eyes. "You want to ask me that after fucking me? I don't want to think of him."
Crocodile moved on top of her, pulling one of her legs up to rest over his thigh. She swallowed heavily and looked up at him, biting her lip gently as he looked her over. Her body was covered in his bites, leaving red, angry marks all over her. The ones on her neck and throat were the worse, he almost broke the skin on one spot. He slid his hand up her thigh, watching her for a reaction, but she just looked up at him, waiting for his next move.
"Sunny, my darling, let me ask you something and be honest with me." He said, taking in how she shivered under his touch. Sunny nodded, closing her eyes as she moved her legs further apart for him.
"Ask away." She said, wondering what he was about to ask, hoping it wasn't about Buggy again. She had tried her hardest not to think about him while Crocodile was on top of her, making her moan and cry for him, nails scratching his back as he fucked her through multiple orgasms.
"Are you in love with the clown?"
Sunny's eyes shot open and she stared up at her husband in shock. He actually asked her that while naked and on top of her as she spread her legs for him. She didn't know what to say, shock clearly written on her face as her brain raced through possible answers to give him.
"I-I- where is that coming from?" She stammered. "Why are you asking me that?"
"As you say, he's a good dancer." Crocodile told her as he moved his hand to her stomach, sliding it up her body slowly. "Now answer me."
Would it be better to lie or tell the truth? Either way, someone would be hurt. Why should she continue pretending like everything was okay for them? It never was. She had never been happy in this marriage. This was her out, as awkward of a position she was currently in, she had to say something even if it ended in her death.
"I'm not in love with you." She told him. "Ever. I was never in love with you, Crocodile, and I don't think that's going to change after twenty years."
He looked down at her, an unreadable expression on his face until he started to laugh. That was not the reaction Sunny expected.
"I've known that." He chuckled as leaned in close to her. "But that's not what I asked, darling. I asked if you were in love with that clown."
Sunny huffed and pushed him back just enough so she could sit up. "Why would it matter how I feel about someone else? I'm married to you."
"And? I asked you a question and I want an answer." He said as he loomed over her, pulling her back under him with little difficulty. Sunny huffed softly, crossing her arms as she looked up at him.
"Fine. I like him." She told him. "I like him enough that I want to kiss him, Crocodile, but I won't. You can trust that I won't because when I married you I promised to stay loyal even if I was unhappy, and I am not about to break that over some pathetic clown."
"That so?" He reached up to stroke her cheek as she nodded. "Such a sweet, lovely little wife I have. You've always been so good to me, haven't you?" He leaned down to kiss her, enjoying her gasp, how she put her arms around him to pull him down closer. He broke the kiss, biting her bottom lip gently before smirking. "I'm lucky to have you, aren't I?"
Sunny couldn't stop herself from glaring at him. She hated this, hated him even. He was mocking her, enjoying her misery as he asked her a simple question and she told him the truth. She wanted nothing more than to leave, to not deal with him or Buggy but to go elsewhere, away from all this nonsense with pirates.
Crocodile chuckled as he pulled away from her. "Get yourself cleaned up. Go play in your garden with Hawkeyes if you want. I'll see you at dinner."
He got out of bed and went to collect their clothes, placing hers on the bed before he started to get dressed, putting his hook on last. Sunny watched him, waiting until he was gone before she started crying.

Do you ever just start writing and then it's a few thousand words later, and you're just like, 'Where the hell did any of this come from? This was not the plan. Wtf?'

Okay okay okay. I'm going to slowly move things over to Ao3 just to have a secondary location for my works. I'm still going to be posting here first, Ao3 is more of "let me get my thoughts in order".
My username is mostly the same: rorywritesstuff
I have the Kid Buggy fic up now! Will eventually add other works as well.

What is your dream job? To heck with money and qualifications - the sky's the limit here ✨
AND where do YOU get inspiration for your stories? 🩷🩷
Ok absolute dream job would be living on the grounds of an old cemetery to be in charge of the upkeep. I love going to old cemeteries (the oldest headstones in my state tend to be about mid 1800s) and would love to maintain one!
And my inspirations... My brain doesn't stop. Ever. I just sit around and something comes to me so I think about it, make a post, and then from there start writing it out. An example would be the SunnyxCroc/SunnyxBuggy fic because previously I've mentioned Sunny and Crocodile getting together and how I would never do that, and yet it kept coming back so I decided to see how it played out and makes me glad it's really SunnyxBuggy. She needs the clown. 😭

twenty years ago
"I'm sorry, what?" The nineteen year old looked confused by the demand. Sunny had only been at the job for five years, she still had so much to learn, but this customer came in, one she had seen frequently in the last year, making adjustments to their clothes when it didn't feel right in the arms, the chest, hips, and length.
"I said marry me, shop girl." The cigar smoke was awful, lingering in the air as it dissipated. He was grinning at her.
"M-Mister Crocodile, I can't. I'm only half way through my apprenticeship and... and we don't know each other very well." Sunny tried to reason with him. Why would he want to marry her? "Besides, um, I'm not... ready for marriage."
He chuckled, reaching across the counter to touch her cheek gently; she shuddered, his touch was dry and coarse, like sandpaper against her skin. "It's not in your best interest to say no to me, girl, not when I can show you everything in the world, all the riches you could ever want, the prettiest clothes you could ever wear."
"I don't-"
"Saying no to me means you care little for your friends and family, you know. It won't be hard to destroy their livelihoods in an instant." He continued, tilting her head to look up at him. He was so much taller than her, larger even, that she was scared. Was he threatening Miss Pins and her parents? Why? Why did he want her out of countless others?
"But-"
"Just say yes."
Sunny's eyes widened. She didn't know or understand what this man could be capable of but she feared him. She couldn't risk her family being hurt or her boss. She didn't want to die either, not yet.
"Promise?" She asked as he studied her face, raising an eyebrow at her question. "Promise... you won't hurt me o-or my family. And... and I'll marry you."
His face split into a grin. "Good girl. I'll make sure you're happy."
~
Sunny didn't understand where they were. A man taller than her husband greeted them as they arrived on a new island, calling him "Croc-boy" which Sunny found kind of funny. They'd been married three months now and while he would call her darling, she hadn't thought of a pet name for him yet. Nothing seemed to work for him.
"Who's this sweet young thing?" The man asked Crocodile, giving Sunny a look over. She stood beside her husband, trying not to stare up at either of them. She felt so small beside them even without the height difference.
"My wife." Crocodile said as the three started walking along. "I decided to get married before coming to you."
"Hello! I'm Sunny." She said, not wanting to be rude. "I, um, like your outfit."
The outfit being a one piece leotard with very little front, showing off his chest and stomach. Despite working with clothing, Sunny wasn't quite used to seeing someone that exposed but she shook it off. Her parents and boss always taught her not to judge someone's clothes or how they presented themselves.
"She's cute." He chuckled. "My dear, I am Emporio Ivankov, but you can call me Iva if you please." He didn't hesitate in pulling Sunny away from her husband, having her walk beside her with Crocodile behind. "So, he's finally settling down. I hope he's treating you well."
"He... is." She said, glancing back at him. "Um, he's kind to me. I appreciate it." She looked back up at Iva. "Why are we here?"
"Oh, he didn't tell you?" Iva hummed softly. "Figures he wouldn't, but won't worry about it. You'll only be here a few weeks and then you can continue on your way."
~
A few weeks of Sunny staying by Crocodile, making sure he ate while checking his bandages with Iva. The marks on the side of his body looked fine, they healed quickly, but the ones on his chest would take longer, according to Iva. He couldn't use his abilities to take care of that.
Sunny didn't ask questions at first. Her husband wouldn't answer them anyway, but when she was making lunch for him, she finally had to ask Iva.
"I don't understand what you did or what happened."
"Oh, honey, your husband just wanted to be himself, that's all." Iva told her as Sunny put the bowl of soup on a tray. He looked her over again, a grin on his large face. "You really don't know your husband, do you?"
"No, not really." Sunny sighed. "I don't know if I even want to."
~
Sunny only saw her husband naked once before his visit with Iva. It was the only time he seemed uncomfortable around her, his unwanted body exposed to her. She was kind, not saying anything as she kissed him, unsure of what to do, but she told him she thought he looked so handsome, that his body was beautiful, being mindful where she touched him. She meant it. Sunny never wanted someone to feel uncomfortable around her.
After the surgery, however, he didn't have any problems with nudity around her. He seemed happier, more relaxed when he undressed around her, smirking at the way she stared at him as her cheeks reddened.
He was gentle with her the first time, knowing he was much larger than her, not wanting to hurt her or make it a horrible experience. It was a uncomfortable for Sunny but only because she didn't now what she needed to do for him. He insisted she just needed to let him do everything and that she just needed to enjoy herself.
~
She was allowed to visit her parents a few times. It was awkward introducing her husband to them. He really didn't care to meet them but he put up a front of loving husband, gifting them jewels, spices, and other things from around the world.
Her parents weren't stupid but Sunny insisted she was fine and that she was happy with him. He took good care of her and loved her, never raised his voice at her or threatened to hurt her. Everything was fine.
~
She didn't like Alabasta. It was too hot, dry, and she hated spending most of her time at home. Sometimes her husband would bring her to his casino, and sometimes she'd put on different clothes and sneak out to walk around the town but it wasn't often.
When that boy in the straw hat showed up and defeated her husband, allowing him to be arrested by the Marines, she finally felt free, even after interrogation after interrogation, she insisted she knew nothing, that she thought her husband just ran a casino and everything, she had no understanding of what he had been up to or what Baroque Works even was.
Which was a lie, Sunny knew more than others thought. She had listened in on some of his conversations when she'd bring him lunch and he'd hold her in his lap, giving her a kiss on the cheek while having a meeting over a transponder snail or in front of others. They didn't make any comments about his wife. They knew better.
~
Her freedom didn't last long. He managed to track her down in a little village far from Impel Down. She wasn't sure how he did, but seeing him again after time apart was heartbreaking. She didn't want to return to him but he maintained his original threat when they got married: he would never hurt her but the same couldn't be said for her family.
~
"I'm sorry, a clown owns you money?" Sunny thought that was the funniest sounding sentence to her and she snorted. "Why did you loan him money in the first place?"
"There was promise of repayment." Her husband replied, stubbing out his cigar on his plate. She had made him breakfast, one of the few things she enjoyed doing for him. She took a sip of her coffee and frowned.
"Huh." She grinned. "Good luck getting it back. Maybe he spent it all on peanuts for an elephant or something."
"I don't see how this is amusing, darling."
"It's not, really, but the idea of a clown owing you money is funny to me." She shrugged. "Have you talked to him about getting it back?"
"Not yet." He sighed. Sunny nodded and set her coffee cup down, sitting up in her seat.
"Can I go talk to him?"
Crocodile looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Why would you want to?"
"Something to do." She shrugged again. "I'll talk to him and see if we can come up with an agreement about paying you back in a timely fashion, how does that sound?"
"We'll talk about after lunch." He said as he got up. "I have things to tend to."

(this shojo-esque lil story is almost done and I am still a lil surprised it's almost as long as the original one lol and what happens to Sunny is sort of based on something that happened to me(an injury to a hand is mentioned in this) but I didn't lose my job from it)
Since saying "I love you" to one another, Buggy didn't want to leave Sunny behind when it was time for them to set sail again even with promises that he'd visit her soon, that they wouldn't go so long without seeing each other. She insisted she needed to stay back and make sure she learned everything she could. The apprenticeship took ten years so she wouldn't be ready until she was 24. After that she could leave with him.
Buggy hated waiting. He wasn't patient.
Over two years he would come by for visits, each time filled with more confidence on how great of a captain he was becoming, seeing his face appearing on bounty posters with the reward amount starting to climb. It was something to be proud of. Roger would have been impressed, he was sure of it.
Shortly after his twentieth birthday he came by, having one of his men carry a chest with treasures for Sunny to impress her with in hopes of convincing her to come along with him sooner rather than later.
When he entered the shop, he prepared for her to tackle him, kiss him, and proclaim how much she loved and missed him.
So when it didn't happen, he was confused.
"She isn't here." Miss Pins told him as Buggy's head jerked around to look for her.
"What?!" Buggy demanded. "Where is she?!"
"She's been dismissed." The old woman told him as she closed her ledger. Her other two workers were watching and listening to the conversation.
"What do you mean been dismissed?!" Buggy snapped. "Where is she?! What happened?!"
"I dismissed her earlier today." She continued. "She's probably down by the docks waiting for a ship to go home." She came around the counter and pointed at the door. "If you don't have any work to be done then you can go, Captain."
He couldn't believe this. What had happened to cause this?
Swearing, he turned and left, his man following after him, still carrying the chest. How would he find Sunny? He didn't know where to start looking. The docks, but where? Cursing the old woman, he sent the pirate back to the ship while he went to look for Sunny. He didn't want to lose her.
~
Sunny sighed as she sat on a bench with a crepe in her hand while her two bags were beside her. It was tricky doing everything left handed but it was something she felt she would need to get used to. The accident a month ago that crushed her right hand upended her life. Who would want to have work done by a tailor who couldn't use both hands?
She was upset to be dismissed but she understood Miss Pins' reasoning for it. There was no way she could continue when she couldn't even hold a needle between her fingers. The nerves were messed up, making it difficult to control certain movements. She couldn't do the job she had been training for.
And what about Buggy? She had planned to join his crew and help him out. They told each other how they felt whenever they saw each other, they were in love, but he wouldn't want someone useless on his ship. She would just have to go home and find something to do in the village. Maybe she could be a teacher or something for the kids. That wouldn't require a functioning right hand.
She just missed him so much. Sunny wished she could have told Buggy that she was going home. Would Miss Pins tell him?
She took a bite of her crepe and sniffed. She would miss these too.
"Sunny!"
She looked up, eyes widening when she saw Buggy. He was red in the face, out of breath, and hunched over when he got close to her. She scooted over on the bench for him and he dropped down beside her, slumping against her as he tried to catch his breath.
"I... Thought... I missed you." He managed to get out in between gasps.
"Oh, I have a few days until the ship leaves." Sunny told him. "Um... Why are you here?"
Buggy straightened up and grabbed her shoulders. "Because I love you! That damn old hag told me she dismissed you so I had to come find you!"
"Buggy..."
"If she doesn't want you then you can come with me!" He insisted. "I don't care why you got dismissed, I want you to be with me!"
Sunny looked down at her lap, fighting back tears that were threatening to spill. "I'm useless, Buggy. You wouldn't have any use for me on your crew."
"On my crew?" He repeated. "I don't want you to join my crew, I want you to be my wife, dammit! I want you on my ship to be with me! You're not useless and I'll kill anyone who says otherwise!"
His... Wife?
"What?" Sunny looked confused. "I thought you wanted me to join your crew to help out..."
"That was before I decided I wanted to marry you!" Buggy exclaimed. "I want you on the ship as my wife, not a member of the crew, got that?! You won't have to do anything! You can just... Just be with me, that's all I want!"
"Really?"
"Yes, really!" He was still out of breath, finding it a little difficult to get his point across without sounding too harsh. "I want you to be my wife, damn the old hag, okay? I don't know or care why you aren't working, I just want you with me!"
She stared at him before holding her crepe up for him to take a bite. He looked at her funny but took the offer, helping himself before she leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"I want you to be my husband, Buggy." She smiled as he choked on the food. "I'll marry you."

"What are your feelings on Buggy?" Mihawk asked Sunny a few days after the party. She was watering some of the plants while he pulled up weeds threatening them. She looked at him with a frown as she set the watering can down.
"He's a clown, but not very funny." She told him as she wiped her brow with the handkerchief Buggy had given her. She had washed it and kept it in her pocket when she worked. It had been coming in handy. "Why?"
"He has feelings for you." The swordsman told her. Sunny stared at him before she started laughing.
"Now that's funny." She said with a grin as she picked the watering can back up. "Maybe you should become a clown, Mihawk. You're funnier than him."
"He told me."
"I think you misunderstood what feelings he has for me." She replied as she started watering another section. "Our feelings for each other are mutual in that we don't get along. I don't see him as anything as someone who annoys you and my husband."
"Sunny." Mihawk's tone caught her attention, it was gentle, something she wasn't used to hearing come from him. "He told me that night he was falling in love with you."
Sunny's stomach dropped. Oh, was he? She couldn't have that. No one should fall in love with her, not with who she was married to. She decided to laugh again. That was the only way she could react to this.
"Maybe he is funny after all. That's a funny thing for him to tell you." She insisted, distracted by the conversation. Mihawk had to gesture to the watering can; she almost drowned the plants.
"You don't have feelings for him?"
"I think he's dumb." Sunny told him. "I'm not falling in love with some dumb clown, really."
"Hm."
~
Sunny thought Alvida's room was lovely. The pirate captain invited her over later that day, noting there weren't that many women on the island and that perhaps Sunny would like an evening without boys around and she took her up on it immediately. Crocodile allowed it, even gifting her a bottle of wine to take along. He had a long night of paperwork to see too and didn't want her to be lonely.
Alvida had her own supply of alcohol, pouring glass after glass for Sunny as she talked about her marriage, how she preferred it when Crocodile was in prison, and as more alcohol entered her system, she couldn't hold it back any longer.
"What is it about Buggy that makes him cute?" Sunny asked as she looked at her fourth glass of wine. It was almost empty so Alvida filled it up for her. "He shouldn't be cute. He's a pirate."
"I'm a pirate." Alvida reminded her as she sipped her own glass. Sunny's eyes widened and she nodded.
"I know and you're not cute, you're beautiful." Sunny gushed. "So beautiful. Buggy's just cute, he's goofy and an excellent dancer. How come he can dance but my husband can't? They're both pirates."
"Dancing isn't a requirement for pirates." Alvida chuckled as she leaned back against her headboard. Sunny got up and started pacing around, clutching her glass. "What's on your mind?"
"Why can Buggy dance? He dances wonderfully." She frowned. "How isn't he married? He should be."
"He never found the right person." Alvida poured herself another glass. Sunny looked at her, confused. "I'm sure he will some day."
"Oh." Sunny finished her glass. "Has he?"
"Has he what?" Alvida found this entire ordeal amusing. She wasn't sure how often, if ever, Sunny drank, so to see the woman already spilling her thoughts and feelings about everything after just a few glasses was quite entertaining. It didn't take much for Sunny to admit she never wanted to be married, that she was tired of her husband, and if given the opportunity, she would leave him.
"Has he found someone?" Sunny asked. "Buggy. Has Buggy found someone?"
"Jealous?" Alvida cocked her head to the side, watching as Sunny held her glass out for more. Alvida indulged her. "He has."
"Oh." Sunny frowned. "That's good. He should. He's not a very funny clown but he's a really, really good dancer."
"Do you want to know her name?" The pirate asked, smirking as Sunny nodded frantically, almost spilling her glass. "Her name is Sunny."
She frowned as she turned to sit on the edge of the bed. "That's my name. He's in love with someone else named Sunny?"
"Oh, sweetheart." Alvida set the bottle aside. "After that glass, you need to drink something else for a bit."
"D-Does this Sunny live here?" She didn't want her voice to crack. She didn't want to be upset. She didn't have feelings for the clown, and yet hearing that he was in love with someone was upsetting. Mihawk said Buggy was in love with her, that he told the swordsman the night of the party, but Alvida was telling her that he was in love with another Sunny.
"Sweetheart, it's you." Alvida assured her. "He's head over heels."
Sunny looked taken aback, her brain trying to catch up to what Alvida just said. The wine was making it harder to follow along. "Really? Mihawk said he was in love with me too."
"See? If two people told you then it must be true."
Sunny looked down at her glass before tossing it back, making a face as she slumped back on the bed. Alvida took her glass, not wanting it to spill on her bed linens, and went to fill it with some water. Buggy was in love with her, really? But it couldn't happen.
"Honey, don't think too hard on it." Alvida told her as she helped Sunny sit back up, giving her a glass of water. "He knows better than to do anything with a married woman."
"We um, we kissed. Kind of." Sunny took a sip of her water. "On accident. I'm married, so we shouldn't have, and it wasn't so much of a kiss, our lips touched and it felt like fireworks to me, and I kinda liked it." She had another few sips and nodded. "Like candy. It was sweet like candy."
"Oh, did you now?" Alvida made sure Sunny drank the entire glasss before getting her another one. "And it felt like fireworks and was sweet like candy, you say? Can I ask what it feels like when your husband kisses you? Just to compare, of course."
Sunny frowned. She didn't mind kissing Crocodile. Their first kiss was at their wedding in front of his men, who cheered for their leader landing such a 'cute young thing' for a wife. It wasn't what Sunny had imagined her first kiss being like, or even her wedding.
"Like the desert." She frowned. "Dry, awful, void of anything wonderful."
"I see." Alvida handed her a fresh glass of water. "I'm sorry it's not enjoyable. Pity you can't just walk away from the marriage."
"I tried." She sniffed. "He came for me. Prison didn't hold him." She rubbed her face and looked at Alvida as she tried to blink back tears. "It's been twenty years, Alvida. I've been miserable for twenty years. I wasn't even twenty when I married him."
Alvida refilled her own glass with wine, glancing over at Sunny as she took a drink. She felt bad for her, clearly miserable in her marriage, probably in life. She couldn't imagine being forced into something like an unwanted marriage. She watched Sunny sip her water, sniffling quietly. Alvida sighed.
"Finish that water and have more wine. I hate to see someone so pretty so sad over a stupid man." She said as she set her glass down.
"I'm pretty?" Sunny squeaked as tears were rolling down her cheeks. "Really?"
"Yes, sweetheart." Alvida seemed surprised by Sunny's reaction. "You're gorgeous. If your husband never tells you-"
"D-Does Buggy think I'm pretty?"
Alvida blinked slowly before grinning. "Prettier than all the treasure in the world, Sunny, and that's saying a lot because that pirate loves treasure more than anything."
Sunny sniffled and nodded. Why was Buggy saying these things and not her own husband? Why was this clown in love with her? What did she do to have that happen? Why did she start to have a similar feeling, one where she wanted to be in his arms, kiss him maybe? But she couldn't. She was married. She couldn't do that to Crocodile.
"Y'know what, finish that wine, sweetheart, and I'll open a fresh bottle."

No one:
Absolutely no one:
Me while grocery shopping: omg the whole Buggy/Sunny/Croc fic reminds me of that image of Raul Esparza, Anne Hathaway, and Audra McDonald from Twelfth Night.
Tumblr media
Me, loading my car of groceries: obv this isn't like the play but that image has that same energy I feel. Sunny in the middle, Croc holding his hook up to her, Buggy clinging to just a little bit of attention from her, wanting to be close.

have you ever been so in love with a fictional character so fucking much you don’t know what to do, so you just spend 37 hours looking every single last detail about that character and cry.
