It occurs to me every so often how strange my job is. I’m a lower elementary school teacher which sounds normal enough until you realize I teach a school program run out of a zoo. Not like field trips or anything, I have a class of students I see all day every week but also we are in a zoo. My daily routine includes herding both five year olds and loose peacocks
