Still commissionned by Slavie, this time a little father-son moment between Norsen and Cheetah, with a bit of more comic-ish style to it! To be honest, i'm still glad with the outcome of that commission, it was a nice one to do!

Still commissionned by Slavie, of a new character that is gonna be the mate of her main character: Cheetah! They're so cute, even tho i find Ifrit quite bright compared to Cheetah but that isn't gonna stop me from loving both of them very much!

Even the predators need some rest time to time, what a nice thing to see them relaxed and chilling, seeming almost inoffensive... Yet it wouldn't be the brightest idea to actually wake them up from their nap, they might become even grumpier than before...

Commission remake! Still commissionned by Rossi, I permitted myself to remake it on my own tho, adding a few details there and there and modifying the background so it was more fitting to the situation + the style evolution! I'm very proud of this remake and it might be one of my 2024's favourites!

Thank you all for the visits, the likes, the reblogs, just passing by is already a great gift you gave me during 2023 despite my lack of activity on here! So truely, thank you for everything again and for the wonderful shares, always appreciated and really heartwarming of you!

No animal is made for violence. No animal is a senseless killing machine, unless trained to. We have a good example here of an affection display between predators, they often prefer that to meaningless fights that would put them in bad postures. Unless defending a territory or an offspring, they're most likely to happen to calm things down and find other solutions.

UP - Gift for Jackos. The magnificent blue Spinosaurus: Azùl. For once not being sassy or hunting for fishes and other creatures, just taking a chill nap on the beach, rocked to dreams by the waves sounds. DOWN - Gift for @fantasy-artistry. Taranau in her forestial cave, near the little pond. She doesn't see a thing, but the echoes and drops makes her way easier into those cave tunnels. She can also enjoy a sunbath thanks to the rocky window.

Not dinosaurs to say so, but it is still ancient giants and various flying reptiles that actually dominated the skies. They weren’t as bulky and impressive than most predators, but they were intimidating enough to be seen as bad omen by other creatures. Seeing that dive to the ground to land near you sure must have been impressive.

LEFT - « 2 0 2 1 » The more i looked at it the more i felt like it was out dated, it was pretty empty in the background and Brownie looked so round and goofy that i felt it was less and less herself. I just had to redraw it, even if i was proud by the time i had made it of course! RIGHT - « 2 0 2 3 » Yet another remake, this time i didn’t just redo the background. Of course it’s not the most visible here due to the crop, but i’ve added characters and more background details as well, it looks so much more full of life and the background is a bit more worked on. Even if i had to silhouette some dinosaurs, due to my Paint Tool Sai being too old and pixelated for thin lines...

LEFT - « 2 0 2 0 » I was still wandering around a graphic style in details for the trees and the rest of the background, as well as adding other stuff in the background to make it more alive (here, stegos) but it was not that much of a good attempt. More likely shy! RIGHT - « 2 0 2 3 » Another remake, mostly on the background: stegos changed poses and i re-patterned them better just so they could also fit better. Did modifications there and there on the main characters as well (mouths and eyes) but overall didn’t change much aside that, yet it is very much more alive !

We do all need some private time, just for ourselves and for our loved ones. Creatures most likely need that too, for the social ones. It has been already observed in modern animals behaviours, but for ancient ones, fossils were not expressing much of it.
