The decision was made and despite the need for a political match, the pair would never get along. Knowing his grandfather the man would be unhappy yet the marriage was not consummated so could be easily dissolved. The man known as the flicker was as people described the members of the Uchiha though thankfully Ryu could get a mission closer to the border or have a joint mission with the cloud. A political match to join villages would likely be better as well.
