Circa 1750 Fashionable in the early 18th century, this elegant box was used to store dressed, combed, stripped, washed wigs, most often flat and its size evolves with fashion changes. The wig box would be essential and therefore be embellished with several small boxes, assorted, which accommodate pins, powder, jewelry, solid perfumes, Wig boxes were reserved for 18th century high society.
