I realized I haven't properly introduced my oc here so here is a proper introduction
This is the Multipurposed AnaLytical Utility Machine (will change when I think of something better) aka MALUM
Idk what else to say about them, they were a lab assistant but they call themselves an actual scientist now lol. They're inspired by AM from IHNMAIMS (of course) but they don't really hate humans as much as it does. I made them two years ago, I'm proud of how far they've come:)

Concept for the AU’s cover!!
Hi hi back again with the AU brainrot, and while I was initially planning to draw this as another piece of symbolism, I kinda wondered how’d it look as a cover for my comic/fic (if I ever get to develop it).
I did like it, n I also messed around a lil bit with Procreate’s fonts for the title.
HOWEVER ☝️🗣, I also came up with other titles for the AU as I was reviewing the endings. IHNMAIMS has its title that references most of its endings so it made sense to me to also come up with a version. Other versions below (spoiler alert for one of the endings or idk look at em if you wanna)
First title I liked was “I HAVE NO EYES AND I MUST CRY”. This makes reference to one of the endings (AM’s) and you can imagine what’s gonna happen. Though, the title also makes reference to an incident BE had earlier in the moon colony as well. I like this title a lot, and as my AU has a prologue (depicting what happened to the moon colony, BE’s past, how she met AM and became what she is), I might name the prologue PLAN B and the main story with this name, but I’ll think abt it.
The other title is pretty much the same but with a tinge of hope in it per-say. I’d say it would still make sense with AM’s ending, but it doesn’t convince me that much.

I wonder how goddamn hot it must be inside AM. Y'know? That's a computer they're inside. Knowing my own laptop, they must be boiling! Pains me to even think about the state of the rest of the world, not that there's anything left to inhabit it.
Can you imagine burying your hands through the sharp rocks and gravel, feeling past the frequently disturbed soil, down to the metal casing below? Your hands start to feel warmer and warmer the deeper they dig, until you're shocked by a sudden burning sensation on your fingertips.
You'd be warm the whole time, no matter where you stood. It's a wonder how there's even ice still on the planet-- if it's even real. If you left your hands on the metal shell, you'd feel the burn first. As the nerves in your palms slowly died yet again, the flesh sizzling, you'd begin to feel the vibrations of the machinery inside.
Millions and millions of miles of raw technological power, and you at the heart of it. Lay your cheek on the steel. Press yourself against it. Feel the stinging pain. Tomorrow, you'd feel it again. Then the next day, you'd feel it again. Then again, and again, until one day you'd have nothing left to burn for the Mastercomputer's sick enjoyment. It burns, no less than real love ever would.

Concepts and more concepts! These time I went on to design BE’s additional monitor body and her own version of the monolith, which would be an olive tree with her speech engraved in it.
For her monitor I obviously based it off the iMac g3, such beautiful lads… it would fit her perfectly imo :3c. Regarding the ‘survivors’ I’m still workin on them.

Pros of human AM: he comes with subtitles!
Here’s my take on human AM! Very much based on Harlan’s appearance, even down to the outfit, thought it’d be cool to give him a screen instead of a mouth as well B)
He can probably have an image of a mouth on there instead of text but I’d imagine a fake mouth just feels like a mockery to him so he uses text instead.
Design’s very much a work in progress, but I’m happy with it for now :D
ps sorry to all the Ted lovers on here, made him a silhouette bc I couldn’t be bothered actually doing anything with him :’O

FINALLY I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRAW!! This is the design I mentioned on my last post I think, and is greatly inspired in egg-on-a-legg ‘s AM design for the hate speech animatic on youtube, + the Firebird from Disney’s film Fantasia 2000. Erm the phrase has to do with my AU’s lore, and I’m kinda wanting to make something about it, maybe a short comic or something? I’m not entirely sure :p
