A comic that I created in the Summer of 2021 based on a mermay sketch I did but never finished the comic. I made up the story as I went so the writing is bad. But I thought I would share it anyways in case the concept inspires anyone. So here’s the first 9/16 pages. Please excuse the shoddy art style, idk why I thought I was eating while drawing these when I obviously wasn’t(especially when it comes to luka lord Im so sorry he’s ooc AND doesn’t look right 😭😭)

going through all my art and omg regaining my love for hethearra wow. what if instead of doing schoolwork I went back to just drawing them every day lmao

So, Sierra has stated like multiple times that she knows Alliances won’t last in TD and that she wouldnt fall for Heather’s alliance tactics, right? Soooo, what if she pretended to be a bit stupid, n got in an alliance with Heather where they became besties with undeniable gay tension but then Sierra double crossed Heather and they had an epic friendship breakup after which Sierra got voted off and she just felt so horrible because wow there’s this person who ive spent so long watching on TV, loving to hate her, waiting for the day that i could cross her because no one else had been smart enough to do that and now? now she’d just felt so hollow, watching all the episodes with the aftermath gang and wondering why her heart throbbed like that at anything Heather did, hurting over every moment that shes on screen(with alejandro especially) and then they see each other again and its just a giant burst of emotions because whoah Sierra wishes she could take back whatever she did but Heather literally does not care bc she understands the competition, the desire for fame and she just won a whole million dollars, its time to take her fandom trash gf(and herself) to therapy :)

A Lila and Marinette Miraculous-swap, but also an AU where they are still the partners that protect Paris; Marinette got her Miraculous by being kind and caring as usual, but let’s say the Miraculous got a little jumbled around in their boxes, and Master Fu accidentally pulls out the Fox necklace (which isn’t what he intended, but she likes it, so this can probably still work). Lila did something helpful as well, but really talked herself up about various (untrue) accomplishments and talents, so Master Fu thought she’d be perfect for the Ladybug. The two girls meet while transformed and begin fighting evil as a duo. They get along really well as a heroic team, but at school they still clash (though not as harshly… Lila is slightly less of an attention-seeker because she doesn’t want anybody to know she’s a super hero; pretending to be such a goodie-goodie accidentally makes her nicer! still, her creativity and ability to bend the truth gives her some interesting options with the Lucky Charm, and she sees through most villain plans quickly. Marinette’s illusions allow her to make grand distractions, often tricking an enemy into thinking they’ve won, but instead causing them to willingly walk into a trap or make a mistake. her ideas with fashion design also allow her to make disguises for the two of them, so villains can’t find them even after they’ve transformed)

I wanted Marinette to look really different from the other Foxes we’ve seen; she has a more comfortable design for her outfit, with loose sleeves and pants. The back of her shirt is long, and ends with a knot-tie to be a little like a foxtail/sash. She has a triangle pattern to the colors of her costume, to be the opposite of the Ladybug’s spots. Lila is going for more of a literal magical girl vibe, really trying to play the part of a lovely hero. Her outfit has a design like a dark-red dress that goes over bright red leggings and an undershirt. The edges of her costume are angular, but the Ladybug spots are round, so it also is opposite to Marinette. Lila’s hair is up all the way in a bun (again, round Ladybug spots), with bright beads decorating it. Marinette’s hair is down (and perhaps a little longer than normal, thanks to transformation magic). If I were to give them hero names, I think I’d pick “Lady Lovely” for Lila (the double L works for her name, and a group of ladybugs is called a “loveliness”. just Lady for short~), and Foxtale for Marinette (a pun on foxtail, since “tales” as in a story are similar to fables, where lots of fox myths come from, and it is similar to illusions/fantasy). I think Adrien would still get a Miraculous… but now Master Fu wants the Black Cat to have their own partner (since he accidentally did that with the Ladybug). He actually selects Alya for the Black Cat, and Adrien gets the Bee!

Your goth Lila is amazing. Maybe you can do something where she and Juleka get to interact with each other? I think seeing those two together would be cool.

For context on their outfits/ little bit of backstory. So Zuko hid out on a fire nation vessel headed for the North Pole, and whilst on there he heard the great master plan to infiltrate the North Pole by pretending to be allies and killing the royal family when they got close enough. He jumped ship as soon as he could, only to find himself on Kyoshi island. He learns that they’re warriors there to help protect the Avatar, but he doesn’t really care about that, all he hears is that they’re warriors and he needs help stopping the fire nation invasion of the North Pole. So he tells a little white lie to Suki that the fire nation have found the avatar in the North Pole. They band together only for Zuko to find out he was actually right, the Avatar does exist and it’s Princess Yue.

The outfits are them in the South Pole looking for waterbenders since the north, sadly, got invaded despite their efforts to stop it. Zuko is very cold, but since he’s a softie, he insisted Suki take as many of his layers as he could spare. Since they’re not that far deep into the south, Yue’s getting the last of her days without having to wear a heavy coat on and is enjoying the sun.
