So the lore doc has been dropped into the game... I have yet to find it! But! I have devoured the whole doc thrice. And it's just now that I noticed a parallel between the Seven Seas and the War Seas. It isn't something major but I believe there is a connection between Morden and our old old old friend Durza. It's just a detail I noticed while rereading the lore.
In the lore doc, Randal specifically describes Durza's appearance. Why does he do that? Why, when later he writes that Durza left his mortal body, and therefore we don't need to know his human appearance because it is mostly irrelevant?

And that is the only bit we get of what Durza looked like as a human. Why just that? Was Randal trying to be a good story teller? No, he wasn't, because if so, he would have added more characteristics than just his hair. Later, Durza is granted the title "The Magic Thief".
And this is where the parallel I mentioned comes in. Morden has black hair and he has stolen the Death curse, which granted him the title of "The Curse Thief".
Is there a connection between Morden and Durza? Probably not. Durza is very very old, while Morden should be around the Player's age (I haven't found any confirmation on this, so actually, who knows how old he is). There is also the matter that we don't know where Morden comes from. Neviro is from Winterveil, Iris is from Ravenna but we don't know where Morden comes from.
Oh boy this post got derailed a bit.
How I see it, Morden is the good version of Durza. I still find it suspicious that Randal through in that detail about the hair though. 👀
Also morden means "to murder" in German and I think that's a cool little detail :)

I've been finding a lot of job postings that ask me for a photo lately, which is uncool of them.
So I made an image which lets me bypass their demand. I don't care if I get that particular job, I just want to shame the HR goons who thought the photo requirement was a good idea.
