A while back I tried my own design for Link and Zelda. I liked the two I did of Princess Zelda but his hero outfit was kinda of cobbled together. I tried to keep it simple but believable for a game and unique to him. I also wanted to have a pre-hero look for him so I decided blacksmith since it’s a profession some of the other Links’ were in apprenticeships for.

Twitter post | Zelda thinks she's handling things quite well following her return to her home and to normalcy. She's finally home and she's a Hylian again. Why wouldn't everything be fine? It's just that... she's picked up a habit of avoiding mirrors -- reflections as a whole, honestly. If she does look, it isn't for long. She tells herself that it will pass.

Embodiment of Wisdom
|| Verse Introduction ||
Zelda is an old woman varying from her late 70′s to her early 90′s. In some universes, she has remained the Queen of Hyrule and continues living at Hyrule castle, though it is in name only as the government has shifted to elected positions. In others, she has successfully stepped away from the throne entirely and is living out the end of her life in Hateno Village. In most universes, she is married or a widow with two children and three grandchildren.
As an elderly woman, Zelda is somehow even smaller than she was in her youth, and considerable more frail looking at first glance. Her golden hair fades to silver and falls just a bit past her shoulders, though she normally keeps it up. Her wrinkles are most prominent around her eyes and in the corners of her mouth.
Some days are better than others when it comes to mobility, and there are times you’ll see her walking about with a intricate, rounded top cane. She will use this to smack you with if necessary. She tends to walk slowly, and if you’re in a hurry, well, you’ll have to make a change of plans because she’s not moving any faster.
Which brings us to her personality. Elder Zelda is the most confident and blunt Zelda you will meet. She has lived and loved long enough to no longer fear speaking her mind, and she’s learned the price of grudges and the benefits of peace. That said, she is considerably more patient at this stage in life, both for herself and those around her. She knows the most truly valuable thing in life is time: time spent with those you love, time for your goals, time to explore life and all it offers.
She truly becomes the embodiment of wisdom.
