it’s ya boy jay, altho you’ll prob know me by my old blogs ( recongem, sansflesh, ulturant, etc. ) i’ve decided that having all my muses on one blog would be much easier for me to track, plus it’ll be better if i suddenly wanna add a new muse. so! if you know me from my old blog ( s ), or would like to interact with this new multimuse blog, pls like or reblog this post.

“Explain what?” Black Star asked, then was greeted by a store flyer in her face. It was a flye for a sale in the store, problem solved! “Fifty percent off means you can buy any item in the store for half price. So basically, stuff in there is cheaper today!”
“But- why?” She turned the paper to examine it again, squinting at the brightly coloured text and stock images of fruits. “Are they just giving stuff away for less than they would normally, for no reason? What are they getting out of this deal? And why would they hand this to me?”

Achroite never had any idea what to do when it came to other tourmaline gems. She felt so different from the rest of them, smaller and opaque compared to their bright colours. But, it wasn’t as though she could refuse a mission, especially when her only reason would be the presence of another gem.
“Salt?” Was the closest thing to a question she managed to get out before their Topaz interrupted. “Er, right. Of course... so where is our escort anyways?”
It could’ve just been a trick of the light, but Achroite appeared to grow less translucent once the other tourmaline stopped talking.

Purple Tourmaline, Gold Topaz’s friend, crouched down in front of the rarer tourmaline.
“Ayy, an Achroite.” Purple grinned. “You want some salt little buddy?”
“No one wants to ingest your disgusting salt.” Gold Topaz snapped. “And you two focus. We’re on a very important escort mission.”

Achroite couldn’t even explain her reasoning to herself, as she approached the Peridot. Really, it would make more sense to avoid her, to turn around and disappear into the background while her cover was still intact. But something forced her to press onwards. Curiosity? Or the need to follow someone around on this strange planet. Even if they seemed... unstable, at best.
She made sure to make some noise as she came closer. Not enough to give herself away, just enough to throw the other gem off their guard. Through years of experience, they figured out that the feeling that someone was watching you could elicit the best reactions from others.

[ ach was supposed to be a pink tourmaline, so in an au where she was born before or during the rebellion. she might’ve been made on earth, for pink diamond. ]
[ but then she came out wrong. she came out as an achroite instead. ]
[ and i mean i could either go with her being a part of pink’s court still, or. she betrays them, and instead joins the crystal gems. or, or, she becomes a secret agent, a mole in the court or in the rebellion. ]

It took a good moment for Achroite to calm down, and put down her makeshift weapon of broken gem tech. She had no need to be frightened of the other gem- at least, as far as she could currently tell.
"Not long, no. Just trying to get this thing working again." This being the malfunctioning data log now in the sand at her feet. “Don’t suppose you’d know something ‘bout technology?”
