i was thinking about sengoku’s stupid bird hat earlier and i was wondering if this is just part of the fleet admiral attire. but. akainu is sporting a noticeable lack of the stupid bird hat

so this leaves us with two options:

1) the bird is not part of the fleet admiral uniform at all. sengoku is just Like That and insisted on wearing this absolutely idiotic hat for. reasons.

2) some poor marine told akainu that he needed to wear the bird hat and was immediately melted and nobodys brought it up since
