So I just read his response post on April 19, and I'm just glad he did get help and hopefully does better in the future. It gets real dark if you struggle with mental health issues and trauma though, so be warned if you decide to read it. For a while now even probably when I made my original post, I was thinking about the "grow and change as a person" meme, because even him admitting to it originally was a sign he had the potential to improve. The vast majority of us can change, I know I did.
I still don't let him off the hook for what he did (just like when I was semi-unbased), but at least according to him it wasn't quite as bad with regards to his behavior. While it would be good to then hear what Emily has to say about his response, I don't want this to keep going forever since it's stressful for everyone.
unrelated: Someone improving on their behavior is an important part of left-wing politics, which is why "once a nazi, forever a nazi" is bad since it just keeps them there. For the record, my issue wasn't being a nazi like I've heard other trans people mention, but it was being homophobic because I was taught to be. Did think that trans people should be allowed to be gay-married, though, and thanks to the power of critical thinking with a thought expirement, understood when I was 13 or 14 that it wasn't a choice to be gay or not. Don't want to get into it.
95% of online cis-hets terminally obsessed with Xenoblade sure are creeps, huh. I hate this and it just keeps getting progressively worse since the first receipts. I say 95% because there are some I know (can't say who) or really hope are fine but won't mention because I don't want to be responsible for throwing the ball. I don't know who said that thing about most cis-het terminally-obsessed fans being creeps, but I've seen it mentioned on Twitter when I still used it.

In Super Mario 64, positioning Mario underneath the lowest rotating platform on the bottom of Tick Tock Clock at the highest clock speed will result in the platform continuously squishing Mario for extremely brief periods, without actually harming him.

Super Mario Galaxy contains an early version of the Tox Box enemy in its files that has crudely drawn faces on each side, similar to the original Super Mario 64 design of the same enemy, instead of the finished version's modeled Thwomp-like faces. Above is an animation of it being rotated, in a manner similar to how it might have rotated during gameplay.

In Super Mario 64, an obstacle unique to Snowman's Land is a path with triangular "waves" traveling down it, each acting like a slope to make Mario slip and push him back toward the beginning of the path.
Due to an oversight in the implementation of the obstacle, on specific frames when the waves recede into the ground, an extremely thin temporary out of bounds area is created at the ledge of the platform.
If Mario is above the ledge in a precise position during one of these frames, he will instantly die with no visual explanation as to why he could have died, due to the game considering him out of bounds and using death as a failsafe for this situation. Note Mario merely crawling along and doing nothing out of the ordinary before the game suddenly declares him dead.

The Super Nintendo World theme parks use a design for cactus decorations that is almost certainly taken from a fan work.
Top row: the cactus decorations. Note that cacti that look like this have never appeared in a Mario game or any other official Mario product before their appearance in the Super Nintendo World parks.
Bottom: cactus graphics featured in a fan mod for New Super Mario Bros Wii, titled "Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii" (released in 2013, 8 years before the opening of the first Super Nintendo World park). These look almost completely identical to the park decorations. Note the specific arrangement and angles of the branches.
It is theorized that the decorations were made by designers who used internet searches instead of strictly Nintendo-provided materials to get inspiration for the designs, and that searching for Mario game screenshots often also provides screenshots of fan mods in the results which can very easily be mistaken for official content.

The 2020 Kickstarter trailer for the "Colors Live" paint application for the Nintendo Switch contains a bizarre inclusion of several drawings of Broque Monsieur from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. The artwork for the trailer was chosen by the game's designers from user-submitted artwork and was evidently chosen without knowledge that it depicts a character from a copyrighted work.

In Super Mario 64, whenever Mario reads a sign or talks to an NPC, the game enters a "time stop" state where most objects do not move. Using glitches such as activating dialogue but then surfing away on a Koopa shell before the text can actually appear allows Mario to move around during a time stop state and explore an environment in which most objects are frozen in time.
In the time stop state, it is extremely dangerous to touch a Chuckya enemy. Normally, it would grab Mario and then throw him; however, due to time being stopped, only the grab action is performed as it is done automatically upon touching the Chuckya. Since the Chuckya would need to be able to move to throw Mario, but is frozen in time, Mario will be trapped in a grabbed animation forever, forcing the game to be reset.

Top: the "Cat Nap" microgame in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames and the "Pet Cat" souvenir in WarioWare: Twisted both feature a specific photorealistic white cat.
Bottom: the Japanese official site for WarioWare: Twisted revealed a photo of the original real-life cat that was digitized to create that graphic, as well as stating that in-universe, the cat's name is Boji and it belongs to Sugar, the owner of Club Sugar (the dance club seen throughout the WarioWare series).

I think trans people should reclaim the phrase "gender confusion" and similar words and phrases as you can be really confused about your gender when your egg begins to crack and not know what's going on. I say this because I was and it took some time to understand everything.

Earlier I was watching Maddie's newest video, and it reminded me of how the quality of my programs significantly increased after I got into MLP (G4) proper on January 15, 2016, as Rarity was a major influence on me since we both kinda do the same thing with being designers and creatives. Then I thought about how I missed what it felt like watching the new-to-me MLP episodes on my Lumia 830 that I could then catch up on. I can't explain it, but it was like a whole new thing.

In Luigi's Mansion, it is possible to cause the game to become unplayable while a Boo keeps saying its line over and over, as seen with Boodacious repeating "I'm cool like that!" indefinitely in the footage.
If Luigi lets a Boo escape when it has 0 HP (by carefully timing Luigi to get caught on an object when the Boo reaches that point to prevent it from being caught), and it hides in an object in another room, it is possible to release it from the object and catch it before it can say its line. The wrong order of the Boo being caught before saying its line will cause the game to enter a glitched state where it will freeze Luigi into a sucking animation while the Boo keeps repeating the line forever.
