IN THE EPISODE LAST NIGHT THEY REVEALED SOMETHING TO US.

“That Night” it wasn’t only Bethany who escaped Radley, Charles did too. 

AND GUESS WHAT?

“That Night” occurred on Labor Day 2010, right? The night that everyone thought Alison had gone missing but in reality it was the night Ali was almost killed, Bethany was murdered, and Charles escaped Radley. We can speculate now that “That Night” Charles assumed a new identity and became free. And this could have been how Mrs. DiLaurentis truly faked his death. The only problem with that theory is that Kenneth stated that Charles committed suicide (faked his death) when he was 16 and Labor Day 2010 Alison was 15 which would have put Charles at 22 back then. And since Lesli Stone and Bethany knew Charles as the name Charles in 2010 (Charles and Bethany escaped Radley together) when he was 22 that would mean that Charles never committed suicide when he was 16. He was still alive. So why did Jessica DiLaurentis tell Kenneth that he died when he was 16? Did Mrs. D lie to Kenneth to keep him away? Or maybe Kenneth disowned Charles for something that he did and in Kenneth’s eyes, his son had died?  

HERE ME OUT. In the first few seasons during our ‘A’ closers we see ‘A’ purchasing alcoholic drinks and bottles, right? Well, don’t adults who just turned the legal drinking age seem to drink quite a bit? Charles being 22 during seasons 1-2 would make a lot of sense seeing as how we see ‘A’ drink frequently. Charles is either an alcoholic like his brother Jason or he’s a newly legal adult. (Note: Jason, Melissa, Ian, and Wren were also newly legal in both seasons 1 and 2 as well)

That date is supposedly the exact date of Labor Day in 2010. And remember Toby’s tattoo? 9.01? He has said that he got that date tattooed on him because “he was free” from Jenna and her sexual abuse due to the accusations of him murdering Alison and being arrested for the crime, BUT what if the real reason he got that date tattooed on him is because that is the night he escaped Radley Sanitarium as Charles DiLaurentis? Is that the night that he became Toby Cavanaugh? Free at last…

I’d also like to note that back in a flashback scene when Alison was at Toby’s house she said to him, “I know you want to kiss me”. TOBY DIDN’T KISS HER and sent Alison home. Why? Did he know they were siblings or did he simply have no interest in the girl everyone was interested in?

And look at those eyes. Don’t they look similar to you?

And in the promo for 6x07 we see Spencer hand Toby a picture and show him who Charles is. WHAT IS WITH THIS LOOK? He looks caught. Surprised.

THINK ABOUT IT. It’s absolutely genius if Charles is Toby. They already told us who ‘A’ was and then they let us redeem his character only for it to secretly still be him all along. What a TWIST. And it makes complete and total sense because season 3 is when it’s revealed to us that Toby was working for ‘A’ and also happens to be the same season that Charles took over the ‘A’ game from Mona. (Note: I.Marlene King has stated that Toby Cavanaugh’s character was originally supposed to die at the end of the first season but she fell in love with Keegan Allen so much that she kept Toby on the show. I wonder if she had another reason other than admiration…)i

it doesn’t make sense. the girls already knew Toby from way before Alison disappeared, there was the Jenna thing, remember? how could’ve he became “free” and “Toby” only on “that night”?
