Tips on drawing Anya😭 I can’t draw her for my own life! (Especially her eyes 🥲)

ok so i can't give you tips on how i usually draw her because my methods change with the wind, but what i can do is break down part of how endo draws her!

so for eyes:

depending on the atmosphere of the panel or scene, details in her eyes or eye shape may change! and ofc when the scene is comedic her eyes become complete ovals SDJDSK

also when she does the glint thing, she's deliberately mimicking her papa so her eye shape becomes reminiscent of his eyes, which is a cute detail:

and as for her hair, i separated it in pieces for better understanding, as you do

her front hair thingies are the most important to get right, as the moment you add them in, she becomes Definitively Anya

STILL not gonna touch the 2nd Anime OP for Floriography, but I found a cute little Anya that Endo made for a charity that seems fun and doable!

These blue/purple flowers are Canterbury Bells, representing Gratitude, and the Gerbera Daisies symbolize Cheerfulness/Celebration/I Appreciate You. Pink Gerbera's specifically represent feelings of Thankfulness.

The green and pink flowers are Peonies, which symbolize Bravery in Japanese floriography. Pink Peonies symbolize Affection, and Green Peonies represent New Beginnings.

The tiny white flowers we see all about are Baby's Breath, representing Innocence and Everlasting Love. The clusters of white flowerbuds are a little harder to identify, but I THINK they're white lilacs, which also symbolize youthful innocence.

Curiously, it looks like there's also a pink camellia pinned to Anya's dress, which symbolizes Longing for You and My Destiny is in Your Hands.

we talk about wilson being awful and evil deep down and he is but importantly that doesn’t erase the sincerity of his kindness. he is truly kind. he needed to help that old woman in post mortem because he does care about people. what makes him interesting is that he doesn’t want to. he gets mad at himself for being kind and nice and selfless and enabling. he wants to be selfish and mean. he would be happier that way. meanwhile house hates himself for being selfish and mean. house wants to be kind. house would be happier if he was wilson and wilson would be happier if he was house. and both of them are only able to be those versions of themselves when they’re together. they not only want to be with each other, they want to be each other. but the fucking tragedy of it is that they actually need to be the versions of themselves that they don’t like to be together. because if wilson was mean he would’ve dumped house ages ago and if house was kind wilson wouldn’t find him interesting. house loves that wilson is secretly evil but needs him to be kind, and wilson loves that house is secretly kind but needs him to be evil. they can’t change. they have to suffer themselves to enjoy each other. they’re plagued with an inability to be who they want to be in anyone’s arms but each other’s, but they both have to be who they don’t want to be to be in each other’s arms. the immutable tragedy of the hilson paradox
