shower thought: if Jiang Cheng reacted to Wei Wuxian's demonic cultivation and tricks (during Sunshot Campaign) the same way that Nie Mingjue reacted to Meng Yao's spy arc and schemes, would WWX become like JGY?
cause when JC and LWJ confront WWX the first time about demonic cultivation (when wen chao dies) JC is supportive of it bcs it kills Wens, while LWJ disapproves (from worry but still) I think if JC pulled a NMJ and told WWX to stand trial and take any punishment thrown his way for his crimes, WWX would have body count of a nuclear weapon
since both jgy and wwx use 'underhanded tricks' (manipulation and demonic cultivation) because they're not as strong as their enemies and don't have the allies it feels kind of similar
