Okay so I heard HS2 is coming back under James Roach. I know he did some music but I genuinely can't tell if this is a good thing or not??? I plan on reading HS2 in the near future but I've been hella busy and haven't gotten to it

I absolutely love the relationship between John and Rose, because of how well John’s gooberness and Rose’s wit gel together when they interact.

They ping-pong off each other's quips and jokes, but they still both care about each other. Definitely not a romantic relationship, more like a "i've known this person for so long that I can read them like an open book" kind of relationship. Pesterchums, even.

It feels super weird being a brand new homestuck fan, and also kinda sad? Reading about how big and influential it was in the early half of the 2010s, only for it to now be stagnant and sparse. A lot of the fanfics are also from 2010-2015, with many being incomplete. The abandoned AUs. It’s kinda like walking through an empty city, a ghost town. Roaming the empty halls of a once bustling palace. What was once a huge part of Tumblr and an internet icon, now underground?

It makes me wonder, is it truly at the end of its life cycle? Or will it be revived and reborn?

btw there's no hard barriers between any queer identities- where one identity ends and another begins, they meld together, creating a gradient between the two, and every other identity around it. it's one big gradient, not rigid boxes that can never be touched by one another. queerness involves embracing those gray areas, celebrating them, and the lives of people who occupy them. being unique does not involve casting away those who are similar to you- there are no barriers between different queers, we are all part of the the same beautiful tapestry.
