One of the driving factors for me leaving my job was that they started using a AI system to grade our performance on customer service type phone calls. An AI... that would score you on the tone of your voice. It was clearly biased and had no transparency. Every black person on my team it would consistently rate 10-15% lower than the white people. And that AI really hated me using the job to practice my trans voice. I could never get any advancement opportunities after that. They used it as an excuse to disallow me to work from home and I ultimately got bullied into quitting by an AI supervisor.
