on the topic of reblogging art. I feel like it shifts when it comes to commission slots and info, seeing something along the lines of "reblog don't like" does not register as the message of "you're a bad person if you don't reblog", but more of sense of public service "yes, I have made my followers aware that they can get rouge the bat at the beach".
I think people mostly use reblogs as a form of communication with moots and followers, not as much for showing how much they like something, so a lot of (more or less conscious) thought goes into "would this be interesting/fun for other people?". That's why something that evokes negative feelings such as guilt or shame are less likely to be shared around (this goes for "reblog art or else [threat]", but it's the same for those additions to post a la "cis people can reblog too but they must shut their mouth"]. Why would I want my mutuals to feel like I'm testing them?
In the case of an artist commission post it feels different cause it's more like an instruction (or being part of marketing?): here are some opportunities and reblogging is the only way for people to know about it

this is assuming its on art you normally wouldn't jump to reblog. i myself only rb stuff i really really like so .
The 'rude/demanding' tone would be stuff along the lines of "if you like but don't reblog I'll [threat]" which i see surprisingly often, both serious and more silly

I rly hate the Satanic Panic & the moral panic surrounding violence in video games in the 90s, coz it's now impossible to talk about the social implications of violent video games in a realistic sense.
No, violence in video games does not create serial killers in the way most people imagine it would.
However, it's very important to notice how after 9/11, a lot of violent video games pivoted their content from silly gratuitous cartoon gore to more realistic military shooters set in the Levant from a US American lens. It's also important to notice the connection of these games & their toxic online multi-player voice chats to Gamer Gate in 2014.
It's obviously not as black & white as it was presented in the 80s & 90s, I dont think everyone who played early Call of Duty games is a white supremacist who wants to join the military to kill people in the middle east, but I think it's dangerous to pretend like video games or any media can't have an impact on the way people think about violence.
I think what makes all the difference here is how that violence is portrayed, what the message behind it is, what the motives are behind the people who crafted that message, who the victims of that violence are, how they are portrayed & the greater cultural context that surrounds it.

The thing about Timmy Chalamet is that he’s truly a great actor and he even has good taste in projects and he’s not even overexposed when you calibrate for how overexposed all that group of 25-30 year old big stars are……however something is still off. any time he gets cast in something it feels like that movie instantly turns into a parody of a movie. I cannot explain this
