Hello, beautiful people! An amazing thing happened - I took part in my first ever D&D one-shot adventure, not as a kobold, but as an illustrator, and today it is live on Kickstarter! It's a one-shot with some elements of Escape Room games, and its creators, Frost Forest Games, are super experienced in both that and D&D! I should know - one of them is my DM :) More info on the Kickstarter page. Come and back us, it's gonna be fun! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frostyforest/dandd-escape-room-one-shot-diy-prophecies-for-1

I love the fact that the most popular thing I've ever created is a comic about shoving various objects into ass! :D

I needed zombie minis for my Old Owl Well terrain, but I`ve spent all the mana on creating the map itself, so here are the zombies and their proud necromancer daddy :D

how does one who wants to make some 3d dnd maps begin
Hmm, this map is only the second one I've made, so I literally just know how to begin. Extruded polystyrene and a sharp knife can cover most of your needs, I guess. I was going to post a short process video later, maybe it will be helpful. Anyway, feel free to ask me anything, maybe something more specific.

Long time no see! I had a huge art block for the last few months, I literally could not finish any drawing and, honestly, lost the meaning of all this a bit. But a good thing happened - I finally found people who I can play D&D with (which I never did before). We already had a zero session and I rolled my first natural 20 ever! I feel a bit overexited maybe, but also inspired to draw again.
So, meet Gobo, woolly loxodon monk, raised by dwarves, who’s both gifted in kicking ass and brewing ale. And also meet me - a rat-lizard-like critter in a red hood, hiding behind his leg. Name is Shabaka, and she’s a kobold rogue, proficient in making traps and being a minion to any big and powerful creature she meets, no matter if they want it or not.
The best thing about this is that almost everyone in our party is an actual artist, and I’m so eager to see what they will draw!

Made an escape room visualization with some mood. The doll is supposed to turn around, pointing it`s hand on symbols on the floor.
