thinking about father paul but in a domestic setting way.

like you’re in a secret relationship bc uh hello he’s a priest duh, but he comes over at night and stays until the sun is about to rise. he’s sitting on the couch and you’re laying down with your head in his lap and he’s running his fingers through your hair while he reads a book or the Bible. sometimes he’ll read out loud to you and when he notices you’re starting to doze off he’ll watch you for a while, and those moments are when he thinks about leaving the priesthood the most (even more than when he’s buried inside you) because he loves you and he wants everyone to know it, but he puts that thought away for now. He’ll get to it one day.

Eventually he’ll carry you to your room and lie down with you, holding you as close as possible until you’re both asleep and you stay that way until he has to leave again.

18: A song from the year that you were born This was a little tricky, but I choose "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)" by Train. Train's lyrics have always had a spark of extra poetry going on for me, and for me the speaker of "Drops of Jupiter" is finding the strength to say goodbye to someone who felt he wasn't enough to stay in the atmosphere for. Been there!

23:A song that you think everybody should listen to Today on "asks I took too seriously" :D The audience is giving me pause- everybody. Everybody should listen to this. Hrm....

"Symptom of Being Human" by Shinedown found me, along with my fiancé. It's a healing song. It's a weird kid anthem. Everybody who's ever felt isolated from their peers should listen to this. Yuh.
