do you ever think about how beautiful it is that you can spend your whole life cheering for a hockey team like they have your die hard support for like 70 years, and then your allegiance changes in the blink of an eye because your grandson is playing for another team. a rival team. decades of fandom and it's wiped out because you love that kid so fucking much. obviously you still love the bruins, but you're willing to have your most beloved team lose for your grandson to be happy. he's not even playing in the series and she's texting him 'go leafs go' against the team she's been cheering for her whole entire life. family is precious and love is real and life is crazy and we're just so lucky to be here and have each other. changing your allegiance from the bruins to the leafs, during the playoffs. that's unconditional love at its finest.
