a little life update

yep. it's me, vic. i apologize for the inactivity on this blog. mentally, i haven't been the best. the situation with my parents is tough right now, and it's really draining. a lot of shit with them has happened, and i'm feeling meh these days. i'm trying to fix this writer's block of mine with writing exercises i'm doing, yes i know it's dumb but i'm trying to get back to where i was. i'm improving, and my words aren't actual trash when i read them. my grandpa passed away last monday, and my mom had to make an emergency trip back home to the philippines to prepare his funeral. everything's a bit much these days, and it's happening so fast i can't catch up. i know none of these are worthy explanations, but i am now starting to look over the requests we have and started writing a bit for a few of them. all i can really say is thank you for sticking with summer and i. your patience knows no bounds. hang in there, guys. i love you.

so yeah we haven't been posting

first of all, it’s summer lmao. ignore if you want to, but i'm not dead

i’m so sorry i haven’t been active at, like, all. bUT i’m great at making excuses, so my mom says.

•this past week i’ve been working with another person to create 18 transition scores for the original performance my theatre camp has been working on for the whole month, so i’ve already been pretty busy.

•it’s been over 100 fahrenheit this week and our ac has been broken for three days, so i’ve lost more sleep than usual, and lost more motivation and focus because it’s so damn hot and sticky and sweaty, but GOOD NEWS…

•there is a sudden HEAVY flash flood in my area (i’m not kidding, the streets are literal rivers) just now and it’s bringing in a cool breeze into my house, however, BAD NEWS…

•to get the cool air running through the entire house, we had to open up the windows and bring the flood into our house.

•a tree fell onto the front of our house so: -getting out tomorrow morning is going to be hell -it broke our gutters so we’ll have to get those replaced, too -actually a bunch of trees fell on the houses of my entire neighborhood so my power has been extremely in and out of it forever

i’m really tired and stressed and i promise i really have been trying to get these requests done but i’m hoping to be able to post some drabbles after july 28 the emoji movie

when connor asks you out, he’s all nervous and jumpy and ends up dropping a book onto your foot. yes, romantic, i know. a million apologies make themselves known and connor laughs. “i’m trying to ask you out and you keep fucking apologizing,” he’s chuckling and you can’t help but blush.

your relationship turns out to be nothing short of perfect, and with you having anxiety, connor understands you like no one else in the world. he can tell when something’s off with you, and you can do the same with him. you’re each other’s shelter.
