About Death Mark Let's Plays
In the Spirit Hunter Series fandom I saw that most of (if not all) have watched the Let's Plays of the YouTuber "ManlyBadassHero" (if they have not played the games themselves, of course).
I, however, have found this series/fandom through the YouTuber "Gab Smolders" when the third game (Death Mark 2) came out and discovered her other Let's Plays of the other games. And I find that so interesting! How so many people can get into the same fandoms through different medias/youtubers/general influences.
But I will, through that, not get some jokes that Manly has made in his videos that the fandom will reference (while I will laugh at jokes Gab has made (Gabu Gabu.. hehe)). And I don't know why that makes me feel so... I don't know... sad? Almost lonely? (It is also something easily fixable but oh well.)
I don't know why I made this post. It doesn't even have a point. I guess, this observation is just something I wanted to share. It is just a wild feeling to see everyone have such a vast different experience then your own in the same fandom/media. (warning: fangirling under cut)
Also! Can only highly recommened Gab Smolders in general! She is just such a chill youtuber and streamer.
She has second channel where she just relaxes and plays escape games or puzzles and talks with her viewers. And on her main she mainly plays horror games but also lots of other things - like Stardew Valley or A Little To The Left! (She also has a very cute cat named BB (short for Big Boss I recently learned lol))

Ooo ok, I did make these gender neutral headcanons cause I usually do gender neutral now for my writings and I was struggling with how to start the request off. I hope you enjoy these headcanons!
◇ After Yashiki purified the spirit of Hanayome, you were thankful that your mark was gone.
◇ However, when you saw Yashiki still had his mark, you wanted to stay with him and help him get rid of his mark.
◇ This didn't make Yashiki happy since he knew someone who had the mark before can get it again, and he didn't want you to put yourself in anymore danger because of him.
◇ Not wanting to leave, but did anyways at Yashiki's request, you decided to give him a charm as a form of thanks to him.
◇ You told him that if he needed any help, even if it's just research, that you are able to help.
◇ Yashiki would have to take you up on the offer sometime since you were a huge help in the Hanayome case.
◇ And the charm you made for him, he would tie it onto his bag as a lucky charm, so he would carry it with him whenever he goes somewhere.

I think the funniest thing death mark canon wise is in NG you are suffering as Akira Kijima. You are going through it! And only to realise the two dudes we already attached to as characters and know they can deal with the shit Akira Kijima is dealing with ONLY TO GET NOTES FROM OOPARTS THEY FUCKED OFF INTO LITERALLY A HONEYMOON. And only comes into play if you get the bad end. Like they really were like fuck you second deliquent son we too busy being gay off screen.
