so I did my first fast in a very long time and I made it 40 hours before my mom wanted to grab dinner together and I didn't want to give in but I did. I still think I did pretty ok tho for my first fast in a while :)

here is my list of safe meals at various fast food restaurants. each includes a "spontaneous" option for when i can't plan ahead and need to stay under my limit and a "planned" option for when i know i have to eat out and i can make it my only meal. this will be updated as needed and is based on terre haute indiana nutrition facts.
McDonald's
Spontaneous: 4 piece nuggets w/ spicy buffalo (200 kcal)
Planned: cheeseburger and small fries (520 kcal)

this is about a 10 month difference, i’ve been on this app for quite a bit so i thought i should share my progress. i lost 70 lbs leading up to now. i’m still extremely fat and have a long way to go but i’m happy with what i’ve accomplished so far.

Little things I do to help
-avoid watching shows and movies where I KNOW there will be someone eating something that looks good, and turn it off if it comes up, I don’t need that shit in my life
-for most meals only eat half, never finish anything unless it is an ana approved™️ meal
-take it slooooow, starting with even a 24 hr fast will end in failure, eat small and healthy
-have days where you eat more, then days when you eat less
-PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN!!! It immediately turns into energy and not into fat, boosts your metabolism for the day, and is good nutrition. I typically have an egg white every morning, only 17 cals 🤗
-cutting out carbs for me is completely impossible, but It immediately turns to fat so I try to avoid it as much as I can, and have zero carb days on occasion
-cold water is better than warm water, it shrinks your stomach and soothes hunger pains
-not very healthy or good but I bite my tounge sometimes so it’s more difficult to eat larger portions
-drink a whole glass of water before you eat, finish a whole glass by the time your halfway done, and finish another by the time your completely done
-carbonated beverages expand your stomach and I’ll never understand the Diet Coke obsession. I would litterally drink something carbonated when I would deppression binge so I could fit more food in my stomach
-learn to love being hungry. You gotta fake it till you make it, when you feel hunger pain convince yourself you love it. You know you’d rather be hungry than full
-applesauce is a good relief of pain, helps your blood sugar if you’ve been fasting, and is pretty low cal

ed tips from an ana veteran (don't use)
• sparkling water and just water in general is your BEST FRIEND try to drink 1l before any meal or if you are thinking of eating it helps SO much
• tea>>
• this one is a classic but seriously chew sugarfree gum. It's so yummy and it sends satiety signals to ur belly making u feel like ur full.
•running is the easiest, quickest way to burn cals.
•low sugar cranberry juice is sooo yummy (it's only like 6 per 100ml and really good for your kitty!!)
• juice cleanses are just socially acceptable anorexia. tell people you're doing a cleanse if they ask you why youre not eating.
•it's if u have a sweet tooth try those hello kitty ice cream pops they are really adorable and yummy for 130
