okay, so we know that julia is the type of person who can stomach literally anything disgusting because of s1e8. she also ran a wellness blog/page/instagram account where she definitely at some point drank some bullshit immune-system-boosting gut-health green smoothies and downed handfuls of 'healthy hair-growth vitamin gummies!' on camera for a cheque. but we know that she's also an incredibly performative fraud, so as soon as the cameras were off she definitely immediately downed a redbull and like, three cans of diet coke. prior to her wellness-influencer phase, i believe she probably did the whole unfailing-2016-go-viral-quick scheme of doing all kinds of gross food 'challenges' for a few minutes of brief youtube fame, including but not limited to the warheads super-sour challenge, the tide-pod challenge, and the cinnamon challenge. i think she's definitely also been through a gym-rat phase where her diet consisted entirely of unseasoned chicken, protein powder and creatine. and nothing will convince me that there's a single universe out there where julia doesn't have a vape constantly in her hand. she relies on that mint-leaf-honeydew-berry-kiwi vapour to live.

im so bad with coming up with random headcanons bc most of the "headcanons" i have for characters are just stuff i come up on the spot for how i think they would react with in the situations i specifically put them in when writing them, HOWEVER i have thought about katie and sadie in the context of like my specific highschool au but it works generally too

They make her a one dimensional archetype stripping her of any nuance and fandom often makes female characters into one or the other. Which is not how women work in the real world!

A character can be both independent and boy crazy, look at Beth! Look at Katie and Sadie! (Unfortunately I think these are the only examples, at least in the Gen 1 cast :[)

and it reaaaaaally sucks. total drama has what i consider a pretty good cast of diverse female characters. And sure, a lot of the time the show doesnt do them justice (they were robbed as many many MANY people say) but a lot of them have so much potential and all of them have at least SOME potential. but ofc, due to how theyre treated in the fandom, no one really cares about them outside of them being paired up with men. and even worse, people will just straight ignore them outright a lot of the time because they 'get in the way of their mlm ship' or some bs.

Also find it kinda odd how Priya surprisingly is bad at facing her fears in the final 4 challenge. Considering how her parents were training her through various Total Drama challenges, how would they never try to make her face her fear of thunder and lightning? You'd think having Priya face her fears would be a priority for them when training, considering they are aware of Total Drama having at least two fear related challenges.

the show just forgets she was literally raised to be little more than a reality tv powerhouse to bulldoze TD and be tossed from show to show. episode 12 is one of those things that just proves that.
