After the events of Order of the Phoenix, Harry matures in my eyes, in the sense he’s finally dealing with his fate. I know, I know he does stupid and impulsive things in 6th book, like the Sectumsempra incident… However, in the 5th book we see a depressed and angry Harry, while in 6th book, he seems like he’s genuinely enjoying his sixth year. Being Quidditch captain, in love with Ginny, just dealing with Slugue. don’t know, I haven’t read the sixth book for years but I remember when I read HP for the second time (the time I started shipping him with Ginny), I had the feeling Harry was more relaxed? Ironically. Like he’s more certain about what he needs to do, and instead of complaining, he just grows… stronger with a bit of “let me just not give a fuck sometimes”.
