i dyed a hqg1c pony and i intended it to be like a darker green but it just turned out to be a black with a green tint. now idk what to do with that pony. i dont think i can redye it from black. so if u have any suggestions on what kinda custom i should make from it lmk!! im thinking ill use my extra pink hair from another pony any do like a black and pink combo kinda dealio but im unsure of what to make her cutie mark :/

It’s My Little Monday! With…G3 The Pony Project artist pony Ka-NO Brown Pony This particular pony for The Pony Project (Giant G3 Pony is given to artists to customize, then the customs are sold for Give Kids The World Village Charity in a pop up art gallery) seems to only have this one photo. (At least so far) The project was surprisingly not-well-documented, so ponies from it pop up at random, usually lacking names or artist info. In this one’s case though, both are known: the artist was Ka-NO and this is apparently…”Brown Pony” As you can see, she is mostly done in browns, and there’s a little character person for the symbol there, done in dark brown. Maybe a chibi-genie? This artist chose to shave the pony (the default one is white, with long white hair) but has also filled in the tail hole, making it completely smooth. The new eye is quite dark, but maintains the ‘shine dot’ and the eye white. They added dark brown hoof line color details.  The various interpretations of ‘what is a custom pony’ that the various artists (not all were pony fans, apparently anyone could sign up somehow) had are very interesting to see. It’s really too bad that Hasbro & the Project didn’t get artist blurbs, didn’t get good photos and didn’t make a catalog or a page about these. It would be so interesting to know what the people’s ideas and objectives were with the experience of doing the custom. (Like what is this one’s deal? Why shave it? Who’s the character on the symbol? Etc) Next week’s MLM will feature the strangest one of all…and people probably aren’t going to like it.

Please say hello to my first ever custom pony, Twice as Fancy Applejack! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ The photos aren't great, I'm still learning, but here she is! I was inspired by @buwugy 's adorable drawing of Applejack as a twice as fancy pony and really wanted to try making it a reality (with a few of my own personal touches ;D)
