You take Pokémon requests, right? Can I have Wally and Drew being brothers? I just think they’re neat.

They are neat! I hope these are alright!

Even though Drew was older- only by a year- Wally was the more “mature” one. They both have the protective big brother instinct, though, in different situations.

Drew was always an advocate for Wally getting his first pokemon and being able to see more of the world. He even offered for Wally to travel the region with him.

Wally always did his best to go see Drew’s contests and always cheered the loudest. Win or lose, they usually spent the rest of the day together catching up.

Wally met some of Drew’s friends and rivals before, and they were all nice, even if a couple were a bit...loud. Still, he was glad Drew was getting to know other people.

On occasion, when they were in the same place, they would train together, most often by battling. Although he lacked confidence starting out, Wally soon became the stronger battler.

Max, Bonnie, and their Pokemon teams

Max is the younger brother of May and the son of the Petalburg City Gym Leader: Norman. Max, at first, was a know-nothing "know-it-all" who was proud of his studies until he realizes studying and experience are two different things, thanks to Blue and Gary. He became humbled and less egotistic of his studies. He curious of different Pokemon and their abilities.

Bonnie is the younger sister of the Lumiose City Gym Leader: Clemont. Bonnie is an energetic and cheerful girl. She always excited meet new Pokemon and befriend them. She always love tending and caring her Pokemon friends.

Each of them wants to be a full-fledged Pokemon Trainer and travel all around the world. The laws of the Pokemon world, kids of their age are allowed to own 3 Pokemon, however they're not permitted to travel without supervision, and they're not allowed to enter Gym Battles, Contests, etc. until the age of 10. When Max and Bonnie first met, they were skeptic of each other, they bicker like kids always do. Until soon they became good friends, despite arguing every now and then. They then develop puppy crush for one another.

Max's Pokemon Grovyle - A new Pokemon for Brotherhood. As a Treecko, it envies that Torchic was picked by May and Mudkip picked by Brendan, leaving it all alone. It follows Ash and the others in order to find a human that wants to take it in. Until it finally heard that Max wants a Treecko, and so it delivers itself to Max. It looks up to Ash's Treecko/Grovyle/Sceptile as an older brother.

Gallade - He is the same Ralts in the canon anime. Back as a Ralts, he was severely sick, and Max helped him out by taking him to the Pokemon Center. In canon anime, Ralts went back with his family. But in Brotherhood, he decided to stay with Max and be his Pokemon.

Charmander - In Brotherhood, Ash's Charizard, along with Liza and Charla, visits Hoenn for an important event and run into Ash and the others. It was revealed that Ash's Charizard and Charla conceived an egg together. Charmander was hatched, and it seems to love to follow Max around. It was then decided that the parents let Charmander stick with Max.

Bonnie's Pokemon Dedenne - In canon anime, Clemont caught Dedenne for his little sister Bonnie. In Brotherhood, Clemont helps Bonnie to catch Dedenne, especially after the info from Red and the others that kids of Bonnie's age can be a trainer, along with the other rules. Bonnie gets Dedenne as in canon, except this time, she's his trainer.

Gardevoir - A new Pokemon for Brotherhood. As a wild Kirlia, she loves to play and care for younglings, whether they be humans or Pokemon. She met Bonnie when she separated from the group and without her Pokemon, as well as in trouble, she went to save and protect Bonnie. She then helps Bonnie return to the others, and sees how often Bonnie gets into trouble, she follows the heroes around, until Bonnie caught her so Kirlia can protect her at all times. Kirlia/Gardevoir is like a mother-figure to Bonnie.

Tyrunt - In canon anime, Tyrunt evolved into a Tyrantrum to rescue Bonnie, and it belonged to a scientist so Bonnie cannot keep it. In Brotherhood, it didn't evolved due to it being too young and inexperienced, yet Kirlia saved Bonnie in it's stead. The scientists allowed Bonnie to keep Tyrunt, due to it being attached to her.

Pike Queen Lucy and her Pokemon Team

Lucy is one of the Frontier Brain of the Hoenn Battle Frontier. She is Brock's crush and then girlfriend in Brotherhood. In Brotherhood, Max never got to get in the way when Brock asked Lucy if she wants to travel with him, Ash, and the others. Making her the first Frontier Brain traveling companion.

Lucy's Pokemon: Abra - This Abra is like the baby among Lucy's team

Makuhita - Makuhita is definitely of one of the muscles for Lucy, aside from Steelix.

Brock and his Pokemon team

Brock is one of Ash's best friends, and the Gym Leader of Pewter City. Brock has dreamed on becoming the world's best Pokemon Breeder, and took a giant step towards that goal by becoming a Pokemon Doctor.

Brock's Pokemon: Cubone - Brock once took a trip to Lavender Town to pay his respects to the dying Pokemon and run into Red, Leaf, and Blue. After Cubone's mother Marowak's spirit is at rest, Red and Leaf begs Brock to take care of the baby Cubone.

Steelix - It was given to Brock from his father Flint as a Birthday present as an Onix. It was then evolved into a Steelix by Brock's eldest younger brother: Forrest.

Golem - Evolved from a Geodude.

Ninetales - It was given to Brock from Suzie as a Vuplix. In canon anime, Brock never evolved Vulpix, and returned it to it's former trainer. However, in Brotherhood, Brock kept Vuplix, and it took on the decision to evolve, much to Brock's surprise.

Croagunk - Croagunk is Brock's first Sinnoh Pokemon.

Blissey - Brock received her as an egg from winning the Pokemon Dress-Up competition.

Misty's Pokemon Starmie - One of Misty's Pokemon choice

Golduck - Once was a cowardly absent-minded show-off. It once evolved after Misty got into a crisis which him as a Psyduck wasn't enough. Although, he does flirt with girls, both Pokemon and humans. ...Sounds familiar?

Togetic - Hatched as a Togepi and sees Misty as a mother, it was then raised by her, until Misty realizes she has to let Togepi fight instead of coddling it. Unlike in the canon anime, Misty's Togepi evolved into a Togetic earlier and gets to fight, and was never released.

Vaporeon - A new Pokemon in Brotherhood. Given as an Eevee by Gary, after coming to understand what is mean to live under the shadows of their older siblings.

Quagsire - A new Pokemon in Brotherhood, where Misty caught it as a Wooper, and it was affectionate towards her and her Pokemon.

Gyarados - A once disobedient Pokemon that Misty finally tamed and it rescued her from the Pokemon Brothers' Tentacruels.

Astrid and her Pokemon team

Astrid is the childhood friend of Red Ketchum, Leaf Gettyu, and Blue Oak; as well as the rival of Ash Ketchum in Kalos. In place of canon anime's romance plot between Ash and Serena, in Brotherhood: Astrid once attended a Prof. Oak's Pokemon Summer Camp, once a very shy kid; she once had trouble with a couple of wild Pokemon until a young Blue rescued her from danger. Astrid had admired Blue's strong confidence and bravery. She emulates Blue's attitude during her rivalry with Ash, Alain, and Calem, but has a soft spot for Sawyer. She might have feelings for Blue.

Astrid's Pokemon Absol - Astrid's Ace Pokemon. She had Absol since they were little, after defending her from being ridiculed by a town that she tried to saved. Astrid vouched for Absol, as the two girls finally got the attention of the townspeople, which saved them. Absol has been loyal to her trainer since then.

Luxray - A new Pokemon in Brotherhood. Astrid's first three Pokemon are obviously feline. Astrid would catch a Luxray herself.

Dawn is one of Ash's traveling companions, and one of his best of friends. She dreams of becoming a Top Coordinator just like her mother.

Dawn's Pokemon Piplup - Her starter and one of her most trusted partners. A bit spoiled yet courageous little guy.

Lopunny - Dawn's other most trusted partner, especially during Pokemon Contests. She evolved in Brotherhood, all thanks to the friendship with she had with Dawn and Ash's Pikachu, and the Soothe Bell that Pikachu gave her.

Pachirisu - A very hyperactive and cheerful Pokemon Dawn caught.

Ambipom - A Pokemon Dawn received after trading it with Ash for her Buizel. She has talent for contests. In canon anime, Ambipom was left for ping-pong training. However, in Pokemon Brotherhood, she stayed with Dawn.

Mamoswine - Was once a sweet Swinub, then evolves more and more disobedient, until Dawn was able gain it's obedience.

Quilava - Dawn received it as an egg.

Togekiss - A Pokemon Dawn received from Princess Salvia. She is a bit of a team mom.

Blue Oak is the older brother of Gary Oak and Trace Oak, and younger brother of Daisy Oak; as well as the rival of Red Ketchum, and the former Kanto Champion.

Blue's Pokemon Eevee - Blue's first Pokemon. He had it ever since he snatched before Red could grab it. The two had certain things in common, they seek to be strong, they don't care of the opinions of others, and they aim to be superior to their rivals Red and his Pikachu.

Nidoking - A new Pokemon in Brotherhood. Blue caught it ever since it was a feisty Nidoran♂. Nidoran♂ always enjoys fighting Pokemon that displays excellent performance and power. To him, it would the Red's Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

Pidgeot - Blue's Pokemon choice

Gyarados - Blue's Pokemon choice

Arcanine - Blue's Pokemon choice

Gengar - A new Pokemon in Brotherhood. He tried defending Pokemon Tower from Team Rocket. Blue caught it as a Gastly. He is rather energetic and excitable, as well as mature and focused. He keeps his follow teammates in check. He even eyes for a certain Clefairy.

Leaf Gettyu and her Pokemon team

Fun fact: Leaf's surname is Gettyu. This is a reference to the Pokemon Japanese's phrase "Pokemon getto da ze" (I'll get you, Pokemon) since Red and Ash's surname Ketchum is a reference the English's phrase "Pokemon gotta catch 'em all".

Leaf is the childhood friend of Red and Blue as they grew up together. She was once a crybaby as she little; however she is growing up to be confident and strong girl. She dreams on becoming the world's greatest Top Coordinator and Superstar. She and Red might feelings for one another.

Leaf's Pokemon

Clefairy - Leaf's starter Pokemon. She is quite energetic and even daring whenever things rough, as well as an adventurer. She grew up with Leaf ever since her parents found her as a wild Cleffa.

Lucario - A new Pokemon for Brotherhood. She had traveled from Sinnoh with her father, as if he felt he was called to Kanto. She was left behind somewhere in the Kanto wilderness until she met Leaf and protect her from Team Rocket's attack. She was curious of Leaf, and then Red and his Pikachu and their bond. She's curious of the bond between humans and Pokemon.

Jigglypuff - In canon anime, she follows Ash and the others around, and in Brotherhood, this is the same one except she follows either Red or Leaf. All she wants is to be recognized by her singing talents despite unknowingly putting everyone to sleep with her Sing attack until Leaf straighten things out with her, and help her sing as a performance and an attack separately.

Blaziken - She met Leaf as Torchic as she and Red chasing off Team Rocket and saving Pokemon from their clutches. She is the heroic type to look out for the little guys and girls who are in peril. She joins Leaf for her heroism and caring for Pokemon.

Salamence - Leaf caught it as a Bagon when traveling in the Sevii Islands, especially when it was dreaming to fly.

Lapras - She received her from a Silph Co. employee.

Ash Ketchum is one of the main heroes of the Pokemon Brotherhood story. He is the younger brother of Red Ketchum and the older brother of Chase Ketchum. Ash is a confident go-getter. Ash dreams on becoming the Pokemon Master. Ash's Pokemon

Pikachu (Younger) - The same iconic Pikachu that Ash partnered with in the anime, but in Brotherhood, he is also the younger brother of Red's Pikachu. Both were raised by a Kangaskhan until they believe they were burdens on her. And then departed away until they were caught by Prof. Oak. He always stick with his best friend and trainer Ash.

Charizard - As a Charmander, Ash saved him from a stormy weather with Brock's help. He became more and more disobedient each time it evolves, until after he was frozen during battle with Ash helping him to recover, and becoming his trusted friend. And even trained at Charicific Valley, while getting a girlfriend Charizard: Charla, and have an egg together.

Snorlax - Ash caught it during the trip at the Orange Islands as it was eating everything in sight.

Sceptile - Ash caught him at Hoenn as a Treecko. He always calm and stoic attitude, until romance is involved. Yet he seems to have eyes on Ash's Bayleef despite her having eyes on Ash.

Greninja - He followed Ash when he saw how trustworthy Ash is as a trainer, and when he evolves into Greninja, he gain the power of Battle Bond with Ash. Able to compete against Mega Evolved Pokemon

Lucario - Hatched from an egg, as a Riolu. He always something to prove yet respects Ash as a trainer.

Red Ketchum is one of the main heroes of the Pokemon Brotherhood story. He is the older brother of Ash Ketchum and Chase Ketchum. Red is a happy-go-lucky and curious trainer who aims to past the limits of himself and his Pokemon to battle different strong trainers and Pokemon. Red's Pokemon Pikachu (Elder) - This Pikachu is the older brother of Ash's Pikachu.He is the type to help lead his fellow Pokemon especially when their trainer isn’t present. He is a capable and confident leader that Red can put his trust and faith into. Though, he does have a difficult time controlling his temper over issues important to him. He’s busy being responsible for everyone.

Venusaur - Red received him as a Bulbasaur from a berry gardener who is out to help people and Pokemon with berry supplies. Venusaur is the level-headed and tend to keep everyone in check and keep them honest. Venusaur doesn’t take it too kindly when those who tell lies & half-truths. He is the type to figure out situations and find ways to defuse them. Basically, a team dad.

Charizard - Red received him as a Charmander who's previous trainer is unable to train him until Red comes to understand it. Charizard is definitely Pikachu Elder’s best friend & second-in-command. He can be a little hotheaded, but when he put his mind into it, he can take charge. He’s also protective of his teammates. Though there are times he challenges Pikachu Elder’s authority.

Blastoise - Red and Officer Jenny were able to stop and even help him as a mischievous Squirtle, as he only cause trouble due it trying to cope that he was abandoned. Red caught it and befriend it. Blastoise is rather ease-going. He loves go around and having fun and is definitely the most friendliest. He is the type to keep everyone entertained and stimulated. And he can be a little trigger happy at times, especially during celebration like after a battle.

Snorlax - Red caught as it was eating the Vermilion City food supply and blocking the path outside of Vermilion City.

Espeon - Red received the Eevee from Celadon City Condominiums building.
