Repository Wizard

The Repository Wizard is a utility for automating the repository technique for objects and clothing.

Object Mode

This mode of the Repository Wizard automates the process described by HugeLunatic in their Repository Technique tutorial.

Clothing Mode

This mode of the Repository Wizard creates new re-colours for a new/modified mesh based on an existing mesh with its own set of re-colours.

This is NOT the simple approach to the repository method of linking the dependant's TXMT resource(s) to the donor's TXTR resource(s), but a new, more advanced, approach of linking via the 3IDR resource.

If you do not know what the repository technique is, or why you would want to use it, this application is not for you!

Guys, did you know there are several new EPs out for this 20 year old game?! At least this is what it feels like to me after switching to windows and playing UC for the first time. Wow, so much new stuff! I even got tempted to build without CC and this is the result (ok, some hood beautification going on, and the hedge is 3t2, but that's it).

I'm using bootcamp by the way, highly recommend it if you still have an intel mac. Seriously, do it people, it's so much better.

A remedy for plastic-looking TS2 CC recolour

Easy Shine Removal kit for SimPe

Download (SFS) Archive contains instructions

Three xml files are included - 'shine removal' will make stuff completely matte, 'reduced shine' xml can also be used to make matt stuff slightly shiny. And there's also 'Sepia tint' that I use to quickly make bright stuff a bit grungy.

Just open a recolour (or object mesh file), click on TXMT resource, click Properties tab (in TXMT Plugin View) and use Merge button to apply the appropriate settings xml.

This will work for anything that's using StandardMaterial definition: Buymode & Buildmode objects and also some Bodyshop items like glasses / jewellery.

Flamingo’s  Favorites II, Chairs

I haven’t made a lot of cc, but when I see something of mine used by my favorite simmers it makes my day 😊

I’m a big fan of favorite lists, so I thought I’d do my own. I’m starting small, with table lamps, and I tried to include different ones than some of the other lists I keep going back to, like Simper-Fi’s or Deedees. So, here we go:

1. pforest, Cool Desk Lamp Listen @pforestsims, I could have listed 15 of your lamps here. They are all gorgeous, they are all in my essentials folder, it was hard to choose, but I cannot have more than two items by the same person on this list, that would be ridiculous.

2. Veranka Boston Bedroom Table Lamp Love the fabric, need to find (make?) some more recolors...

3. pforest, Glass&Brass Banker Lamp The pineapple, again. Such a classic, I put it in all my libraries and bookshops and on many writer’s desks.

4. Moxxa, Awesims MidCentury Ball Lamp Look at those little feet!

5. Shastakiss, Awesims Bubble Table Lamp The colors of this one are so pretty.

6. Thimblesims conversion of Peacemaker’s Mid Century Abode Table Lamp This one became a fast favorite.

7. Ladysimplayer8 Bubble Trouble 4t2 Such a perfect little retro lamp!

8. Veranka Axel Livingroom Table Lamp Whoops, Veranka again. This is my go-to tiny modern lamp.

10. Shastakiss Ammonite Shell Lamp Kind of weird, kind of a classic, typical @shastakiss.

11. Veranka Geometric Table Lamp I usually only keep a few recolors, but for this little lamp I kept them all.

12. @crispsandkerosene, Tropical Water Lilly Light Much more versatile than you’d think! There is also a version for water surfaces by julsfels.
