the smile faded once they saw the grimwalker. all in all, the collector felt bad -- as if the weight of all the ones that preceded hunter was suddenly put on the celestial child's shoulders. which isn't wrong -- the child was involved in the grimwalker's creation. and if things went array, could have led to hunter's disposal as well. suddenly, the collector doesn't blame hunter for not liking them.

there's a smile that is placed on the collector's expression as they look over at the golden guard from their bed. how fun it was that they had a friend such as the grimwalker. who knew all that you needed to make a best friend was to make them yourself ? hmm... maybe belos didn't have the wrong idea after all.

Her sister needed rest, & considering how protective she was over her sister (as of late especially), she wasn’t going to let the child-like entity interact with her. Not until she got better, at least. But, she knew she couldn’t upset the other—that was too dangerous. Therefore, she cleared her throat first before she said a word, & gave them an awkward smile. “ Um, I believe she needs to rest more, ” she answered.
“ But! I can assure you I’m just as fun as my sister! More, actually! Why, I was actually one of the best players in the isle. I’m more than certain that I could instead satisfy your need of a challenge?… ” Please follow through.
gee what was with the RESTING ? sure, the collector got TIRED, but they never needed THIS amount of rest ! mortals were so weird... so FRAGILE, it was almost SAD. but the owl beast proved that they could be a little FUN ! at least that's what they hoped. geez, what did the collector have to do to find a friend that was entertaining ?
❝ you ? ❞ quickly, their attention is turned on the other clawthorne. well, if ONE was interesting, surely the other had to be ? at least that's what they would expect. and what a good PLAYER this lady would be is she CLAIMS she's better than the owl lady ?
