Hey so I made this post whilst Harry Potter was trending. At the time, I was trying to spread awareness to why people shouldnāt continue to support JK Rowling. But Iām realize what I did was in bad taste, and to that I would like to apologize to the Jewish community, it was never my intention to use you guys as a way to bash someone I wasnāt using you guys, I wanted to speak on the antisemitism from Jk Rowling but I have a lot to learn and shouldnāt have spoke on this without proper education. Iām confused now, how is me linking people talking about it being part of the problem? I was just linking sources of her being antisemitic as well as her transphobia. Also in that post I talking about other things besides the antisemitism. I was just providing evidence as of why people shouldnāt be supporting Jk Rowling.
Also in that same post, it never said to dismiss it. The post acknowledges there are cases as well as if people are being antisemitic to reflect. All the op was talking about is that some people will misuse antisemitism for the sake of decreasing the talk of the genocide. I nor the op is denying it, as there is a rise of antisemitism, no is denying or dismissing that.

Okay let me fix it. I donāt know enough to talk about it, hence why I link the two creators down below because of the fact they can talk about WAY MORE than what I can say as a non-Jewish person. The two are both Jewish and can talk about more than how Iām talking about it.

Iām not trying to pretend anything, and do give a fuck about Jewish people donāt put word in my mouth. As also the post literally said if you are actually being antisemitic then reflect on it as well as question if you were actually people antisemitic or if people are accusing you of because youāre talking about antisemitic. Nothing in the post is denying that antisemitism is happen as yes it did skyrocket and Iām sorry for the Jewish people who are actively getting hate-crime. But the reason I reblog is because Iāve been seeing people who will use antisemitism as a way to stop the talk of genocide from happening. Which makes now everyone confused if what is or isnāt antisemitic. Not to mention the post itself does acknowledge that people can be antisemitism and using genocide as an excuse whilst also talk about how people will use antisemitism as a way to censor the talk.
So again, Iām sorry if I havenāt talk about antisemitism in the past because Iām not educated on the topic. Not to mention she benefits off of it and uses her money to donate to transphobia and just donāt give a flying fuck if she offend people (which seem to usually be the case for trans/homophobia but moving on). like, this is who you wanna support? You still want to read this wizard book when there are other that donāt have transphobia, racist, antisemitic, or any problematic rhetoric and are objectively better than Harry Potter? Really? You wanna die on this hill?
Look. I used to like Harry Potter. but that was before I knew what a dirtbag of a fucking human she is (I didnāt really have social media at the time), and I cringe as I wish I learn sooner that she was a deplorable person who hates trans people like myself (nonbinary respectfully). But, I can happily say Fuck Harry Potter that series can burn in a trash for all I care and I hope the hbo series flops on its ass. And also fuck Jk Rowling, she can fuck off for all I care. That being said, If you support Harry Potter/Jk Rowling, unfollow me. Block me. Because I do not support Harry Potter/Jk Rowling. Because Trans rights/Gender Equality, Human rights are infinitely more important than a basic ass wizard book/movie with a even basic ass magic system when there are objectively better wizard/magic books that are respectful.

Epithet Erased is one of my favourite pieces of media, purely because it is not afraid of doing whatever the hell it wants. Wanna make the book super serious and about the infinite weight of reality working under capitalism and how nobody knows what they're doing? Done. Wanna do a fight scene that takes place on a dinosaur skeleton? Also done! It is unapologetically whatever it wants to be, and it doesn't shy away from doing any concept that's interesting, which is why I think Epithet as a show and general piece of media has attracted so many fans - it does what it wants, and it does it WELL.
