I want to personally share this with you as a warning for those who are near places with the coronavirus. My boyfriend is from Mongolia, a neighbouring city beside China. He just got off the phone with his mother who is scared for her family. Mongolia has been effected and the government is keeping the death rate a secret. People, especially children, have started dying in hospitals and in homes. To those who are saying people are exaggerating to cause panic and stress really don’t have family in countries who are experiencing this. Children are dying in Asia. My boyfriend’s mother knew children of close families die in a matter of 2 days. He has a sister who will be taken away from the city but that doesn’t guarantee her safety. It’s a serious matter to look upon so please, don’t say that people are over exaggerating or creating fake news to spread panic. Where ever you are, if the virus is near you, PLEASE wear a mask and start washing those hands. It’s not a joke when your family is experiencing the deadly virus. And it won’t be a joke when you get it too. This is just a warning so please be safe.

I walked out of the bathroom and went back to the table and I could hear Jisung screaming and hollering all the way from the bathroom. Yeji, on the other hand was annoyed and trying to ignore him, I could tell from afar that she was not having any of his screaming or hollering, while the other boys were telling him to shut up and eat his food. I walked over and sat down and Jisung started to shout my name.
“Soojin! Soojin! Soojin!! Did you see @xksjn… She updated again!!!,” He shouted.
“Oh did she? Is that why Yeji is in a bad mood because you won’t shut up about her?” I joked.
“I’m not in a bad mood Soojin!!” She defended herself.
“Yeah, your face doesn’t say that,” Haechan snickered.
“Fullsun,” She smiled sweetly, “Don’t make me do things to hurt you,”
“Give me your worst,” He clapped back.
“Sicheng,” She smiled, “Give me Mark’s number,”
“Hey Yeji, back off, you wouldn’t dare,” Haechan said.
Once Yeji said Mark’s name his ears perked up, “Wait who’s Mark?” He frowned.
“Why do you care, shouldn’t you be focused on this mysterious girl on instagram,” Yeji rolled her eyes.
“Who’s Mark,” He frowned.
“Relax Jisung, Mark is Haechan’s crush,” I laughed.
“Oh!! Okay,” He smiled. “Nevermind, continue on then,”
“So what’s it going to be Haechan, you want to keep messing with me,” She smirked.
“Don’t act like I don’t have anything against you,” He smirked back.
“Like what,” She asked.
“Like Ha-” Haechan said, until Sicheng covered his mouth.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Sicheng whispered.
Haechan looked at me and I looked at him and shook my head, giving him the signal to think before he did anything. Yeji was a scary person and if you messed with her, there was no going back, she went hard.

University is all about exploring. For me, as an English major, I’ve been exposed to many different books. Those books taught me the foundations of life. However, this book has changed the way I perceive the world overall. I HIGHLY recommend this book to those who want to understand the world we live in. It’s such an incredible book and I’m blown away by the content. It’s worth every single penny.
(Sorry for geeking but this is sooo important to understand how society works)
