Like yknow think about it, Mike being around Charlie more and becoming more social and actually finding happiness in his dull life that doesn’t come from video games and Charlie slowly becoming more aware of the trauma inflicted on him from the factory as it breaks him down into tiny specs of dust.
Of course there’s comfort in the idea that I believe Mike isn’t stupid, he’d catch on eventually and do what little he can to ease the pain and help with processing all of this. They get better together, but it won’t start out that way.
