I do not see cats as babies, for the record. If anything I see them as occupying an official position in the household. That being the very important role of cat. They are coworkers, conspirators, family members, associates. What’s their job? Chasing toy mice and smacking you in the face once in a while to remind you of your place in the universe. Very important stuff.
