Caretaking that is casual. Caretaking that's domestic.
You're sick, but it's just a cold. You're exhausted and sleepy, but it's nothing too serious either, so there's no need to worry.
So you're on the couch, sipping tea, trying to read, ending up just lying there, huddled under your blanket, drowsy and halfway to sleep.
Meanwhile, your partner is sitting next to you, also reading. Or playing a video game while you are watching, blinking tiredly but happy to be entertained in this way.
Or it's your friends. They're chatting, talking about their days. Watching a film. All reading. Studying. Playing cards.
And you're just sort of... there. They ignore your sniffling, don't mind when you blow your nose. They don't think you're gross or annoying. Occasionally, somebody might walk by and absent-mindedly pet your head. Squeeze your shoulder. Without even really looking at you.
"You okay?", somebody says, half-amused, when you sneeze forcefully.
"Fine", you mumble, closing your eyes again.
"You want tea?", somebody asks, but it's just an afterthought. They were already on their way to get tea for themselves.
"You warm enough? Want my jumper?", somebody offers. But it's only because they just took it off since they felt too warm.
You're literally just... there. Like a pet. Still part of it even though you can't do much. And you're so happy to simply be around them, feel included. Know you are cared for even though the illness is not that bad. Know you are loved without having to do anything for it.

you’re laying in bed together and they tell you their nose has been itchy all day but they haven’t been able to sneeze. you prop yourself up, hold them close to you, and start lightly tracing their nostrils with your fingernail. the reaction is immediate and they start scrunching up their nose, whining in protest.
“shh baby, you’ll feel better after.” you lightly insert your finger into their nose, being met with a few soft, but desperate, hitches
“h-hih-hihh.. heh.” each small prick of your fingernail further coaxing out an increasingly whiny buildup.
they start lightly bucking their hips up and you watch the pressure grow in their pants.
“do you want me to touch this, or this?” you coo at them, poking their nose and the bulge in their pants respectively. each light touch pulls a different but equally delicious sound from your partner’s lips as they’re left desperately hitching and moaning.
“myhh my n-nose pleahhh-hih! please..”
they’re already rubbing at themself before slipping their hand under their waistband as you slip your finger back into their red nose. their hitches and moans mixing together into a slurry of desperation.
when they finally sneeze they do so full force into your hand which is already conveniently in front of their mouth. after a few seconds they sneeze again, and then again. ramping up to what seems like a full expulsion of all the day’s tickles.
their nose seems to be taking care of itself for now so you nudge their hand out of the way and take over stroking them. sneezes littered with ramping moans fill the room.
once they’re finished, their nose still seems to be quite far behind and, after a blow, they guide your hand back down to them for round two.
for the rest of the night you go back and forth between touching them and teasing their nose until you both fall asleep.

If they muffled their cough or sneeze against somebody’s shoulder/arm/chest/legs/ETC., would they not really care, or would they be really embarrassed about that? If their S/O wanted to be sneezed on, would they be okay with indulging that, or would they just be too flustered to even entertain the idea? Would they maybe even be kind of turned on themselves by doing that?
In a normal situation, he'd at least try to not sneeze directly on someone. But when he's really sick and/or suffering and/or drunk, Fukuchi is honestly too out-of-it to care.
While I don't think he'd be turned on himself by sneezing all over a kinky S/O who's requested it, he would indulge them splendidly. With maybe a little sheepish humor at first to hide his embarrassment...but then when he sees how it's affecting his S/O I believe Fukichi would lean into it with some playful teasing. Because any way you slice it he is a ham.
What kind of symptoms do they really not like? Whether it’s illness or allergies, what symptoms just bother them more than anything else? Is there anything they can do to alleviate those symptoms, or does nothing work?
Stuck sneezes stuck sneezes- but he's also not a big fan of coughing. For the coughing, he usually downs miso, tea (with brandy), or sake to help his throat (usually sake). Unfortunately for the sneezes, he's usually at a loss until someone around him cannot take it anymore and offers some tricks or tips to ease both their tortures.
Could they get sick just from being out in the cold or rain? Or does that have little to no effect on them?
No effect on him, sadly. He's got a pretty hearty constitution, not to mention enhanced functions due to the Hunting Dogs treatments. That being said, remaining cold/wet for an extended period of time could be the final straw that breaks the camel's back if he's already significantly weakened or injured.

My current headcanons on how the lovely Hunting Dogs would snz? I am bored and still not making a fic sooo (I suppose I could possibly move it around a bit if I ever write fics but this is basically my base line for now)
Fukuchi 💗: A little rough. On the louder side but not crazy loud, it’s more forceful than it is loud if ya know what I mean. Also I imagine he’d have these really harsh loud sneezes but plot twist, has a cute ending. It would get a few giggles I think. (Cute)

Teruko: I think naturally she would have pretty average sneezes, perhaps a little pitchy. But she loves to exaggerate her sneezes when in public to scare people. Making them louder and more noticeable. She gets a kick out of seeing them jump. But could easily make them quiet if she so desired.
“AESHH!! EISHH! ASHH-aa!”
Tetchou: Would have loud volume I think, not very vocalized. Also a bit rough, could easily see him having the loudest snz of the group. But as one lovely anon said, he could stifle for Jouno’s sake. But he’d prefer not to usually, only making an exception for the sadistic silly.
