Can i get a headcanon of "Under the Skin" series?!
The type of place Shen Yi would nap or sleep.
because when the babyboy would passed out in the car I'd seriously scream but everytime that Du Cheng would wake him up violently,
or a headcanon about Shen yi sleep somewhere but this time Du Cheng let him.
Oh of course you can get a little headcanon for our boys
Shen Yi is like a cat; he can sleep pretty much anywhere...save for his own bed
His sleep schedule is atrocious because he either stays up working on a sketch for a case or he's up painting
Because he stays up so late, he normally ends up falling asleep in Du Cheng's car because 1) the movement of the car is soothing to him and 2) Shen Yi feels...safe next to Du Cheng. It takes a lot of trust to fall asleep in a car of someone you're sort of acquaintances with
Sometimes Du Cheng has come into Shen Yi's office and has found him slumped over his drawings, a tiny bit of drool staining the pages stuck to his face
Every time Du Cheng sees Shen Yi sleeping, he's reminded that Shen Yi is so much younger than he is, and he's thrown back to seven years ago when they first met because of Captain Li's case
As soon those memories cross Du Cheng's mind, Du Cheng shakes his head before going to wake Shen Yi, roughly shaking his shoulders to wake him up
Shen Yi is like a disgruntled kitten whenever he's woken up and Du Cheng has to laugh softly to himself whenever Shen Yi shoots up, a piece of drawing paper stuck to his face
Then one evening, Du Cheng heads out of his office, about to go home when he looks towards Shen Yi's office and notices that the lights are still on
Du Cheng shakes his head and opens the door, about to loudly tell Shen Yi that it's late and he should go home when he finds Shen Yi curled up on the floor of his office, fast asleep
Du Cheng stares at him for a moment and wants to wake him up but he looks so peaceful that Du Cheng doesn't want to wake so instead he just walks over to Shen Yi and carefully scoops him into his arms, the man much lighter than he was expecting
He then grabs Shen Yi's bag on the way out before he's heading out of the police station and thankfully no one's there to give him weird looks
He then carries Shen Yi over to the Jeep and places him in the front seat, making sure to strap him in before he quietly shuts the door and gets into the driver's seat, turning on the car before driving to Shen Yi's apartment
The drive is quiet and Du Cheng glances over at Shen Yi every now and then, huffing
'He really sleeps like the dead'
When Du Cheng arrives at the alley that leads to Shen Yi's house, he thinks about waking Shen Yi up but Shen Yi is still sound asleep and Du Cheng can't bring himself to wake him again so he reaches over and grabs Shen Yi's bag, searching through it until he finds Shen Yi's house keys
He then grabs Shen Yi's keys and bag before he gets out of the car and quietly shuts the door before walking around to the passenger side, opening the door and unbuckling Shen Yi before he scoops him into his arms
He then shuts the door before he carries Shen Yi through the dark alley that leads to his house (Du Cheng still doesn't like that there's no street lamp or street light, it's dangerous)
When he arrives at Shen Yi's house, Du Cheng unlocks the door and heads inside, Xiaoxuan coming to greet them with soft meows. Du Cheng smiles down at the cat before he heads to Shen Yi's bedroom, quietly depositing Shen Yi onto his bed
He doesn't bother tucking Shen Yi in, because they're not quite at that level of intimacy yet, so instead he just quietly leaves the room, shutting the door behind him
Xiaoxuan then comes over to him and demands attention so Du Cheng just huffs and walks over to the middle of Shen Yi's "studio" and sits down, Xiaoxuan immediately coming over to him
Du Cheng pets her and plays with her until he finds himself growing tired and he knows he should leave but it's late and he knows it's not safe to drive when you're tired so he just...passes out on Shen Yi's floor, Xiaoxuan taking up residence on his chest
When Shen Yi wakes the next morning, very surprised to find himself back in his apartment, and goes out of his bedroom, he's even more surprised to find Du Cheng asleep on his floor, Xiaoxuan asleep on top of him
Shen Yi's so surprised but not surprised enough to quickly grab out his sketchbook and quickly sketch the scene because it's cute and he needs it...for reasons
Thankfully it's the weekend so Shen Yi lets Du Cheng sleep as long as he wants and decides that Xiaoxuan and Du Cheng have the right idea so he goes back to sleep, getting probably some of the best sleep he's gotten in a while

It’s starting to feel like a thing.
They get into Du Cheng’s car, buckle themselves in, he starts the engine up, the Jeep goes into drive, he goes on a bit of a monologue only to look over to see that Shen Yi has nodded off against the window. How he can find that position a comfortable one to have a bit of a kip in, is beyond Du Cheng.
He really shouldn’t care. Not after everything, not with all that baggage and all the history that sits between them in a gaping maw of hurt and guilt.
But his hand still finds itself turning the air-conditioning up to a more pleasant temperature and he fiddles with the radio until it is no longer crackling out the preppy upbeat tones of two guys singing about their ‘ladybro’. Whatever the hell that is.
Giving fairness where fairness is due, Shen Yi has earned this particular nap. They’ve been working hard on the latest case and the breakthrough was all down to Shen Yi slaving away at his sketches until they made the connection between the victim and an underground art auction.
Du Cheng eases up on the accelerator as he takes them onto a turning. Flickering his gaze to the side, he watches the way the cityscapes paint their fleeting caresses on Shen Yi’s face; how the neon lights catch on the bridge of his nose, how the colours wash over his cheeks, his lips, the shape of his brow.
He shifts his eyes back onto the road.
Shen Yi sleeps on,
It’s starting to feel like ‘their’ thing. But Du Cheng can’t find it in himself to mind.
