Copies of the art book are hard to come across since they sold out, plus those things are expensive anyways, so I'm here to share it with anyone who wants to see it!

The Legends of the Guardians movie artbook actually features(among a bunch of other cool stuff) a concept of an owl with a cat skull helmet/mask thing?!

So ofc, i had to draw a few things. I love this idea agh

I love that they included in the movie that line how Kludd felt like the Pure Ones believed in him like no one else ever has. Not only because the story gave him... motivation... unlike the book. But it displays the exact pipeline I see in young white boys. There is some insecurity in themselves and they feel unremarkable, and that insecurity is exploited to an extreme and it gives them drive and purpose like nothing else does. There is no other place where a white boy will be so encouraged like a space that believes being white makes you special or superior.

I’m a big fan of Nyra’s design in the movies, but her eyes just kinda bugged me. The yellow is not terrible, but hypothetically what if she had regular barn owl eyes?
