The Tortured Poets Department. An anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure. This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted. This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it.

Someone asked the other day my favorite Bellarke fanfics and it’s the end of the year and I thought I would be a great idea to make a mastepost with MY favorite fanfics! So, here I am now! I will make it in categories to be easier for you.
Please remember that most of them are from AO3 and FF. Also, I’m more into the action-adventure theme fics so you won’t find a lot of only-fluffy fics here… But I have some! And the order I put them it doesn’t matter. I love all of them the same!

i still get so angry about bellamy. and it is because i love him so much that i get angry. i wish the world talked about his death more, got angrier more like they did with other characters. but the only reason they didn’t was because he wasn’t a grounder woman who fell in love with the main character. instead he was a full-built one from the start. he went through a whole journey and lived through a number of different things, went through many different progressions of his character (yes progressions, i don’t think he regressed, not even in s7 and i have a whole meta about that and ppl calling him ooc which i understand but i also have some points there). i just wish the good, kind-hearted characters were treated with the same love as the sassy somewhat badass ones that never had what he had or lived what he did.
cause if we have tbh here, yes the 100 was a progressive *women* badass* show but it shat on man and most importantly on its main moc, using him and treating him as a villian more often than once (s1, s3, s5, s7) and using him to wipe their hands off for a main story line when in fact yes he made mistakes but just like all the other characters did (clarke, r/aven, m/urphy, i won’t even go into o/xtavia who somewhat ended up with a semi-happy ending and was forgiven all her mistakes including cannibalism), he was vilanized for plot reasons and that never stopped and i dont think that’s called good writing of a badass mostly women show, not at all.
cause you can write so many *badass* women before you hurt all the other characters alongside them just to sound *fresh* and *important*. and it’s not even about him being a man, it’s about what you do to these characters and how they end up in the finale (cause to me c/larke lost herself a lot more and since s5 than bellamy ever did) but nobody or a number of ppl saw that.
his treatment and what he got is what many of us end up in life with-we try our best but fail and then NOBODY cares about you and you’re somehow the villain in every story. meanwhile someone who never lead the right way, was rude and you saw just a glimpse of for two episodes is iconized and loved without the bigger picture being seen.
