I decided my childhood beanie baby collection gets to come live in my house now. Because sometimes you just need to be reminded that whimsy exists.

Now, if I could just find my missing Amber, which was inexplicably labeled "Amber II" in like 1999, a thing that the Internet seems to have no record of ever existing, maybe I could stop obsessing and go back to being a semi-productive adult who is patiently ignoring their dissertation 👀.

Found another TY platypus in the wild! The platypus stack grows! This time it's the original Beanie Baby Patti, found in the local recycle shop.

Like with the others, I made a custom tail for this Patti. I only had a scrap of matchy yellow fleece to use though, so it came out a bit small, ah well. I moved the tag to hide underneath the tail too.

(Oh, just noticed I forgot to put nostrils on this one! I'll do that too.)

Frights is a 2007 Halloweenie, not to be mistaken with the 2015 Beanie Boo of the same name

Halloweenies were introduced in 2004 and ran until 2019(?). As of writing this in 2024 it is unknown if Halloweenies will make a comeback. Modern day Halloweenies are styled like Beanie Boos with a plastic clip instead of a sewn in loop.

Frights is an old boi so he has a sewn in loop, which honestly makes him look like a Christmas ornament! He's a little odd because his eyes are SO dark so they vanish into his black fur. His nose is also entirely sewn which is uncommon.

Halloweenie Frights is NOT included on the Beaniepedia as of 3/21/24
