so this WAS the original plan, but it has WILDLY changed. im having too much fun actually writing the stories
Right, SO
i think I've figured out a basic concept to platform the characters on (ignore the awkward wording, it makes sense in my head)
basically, there's this bunch of books, all by the same author, that seem to vaguely line up. like, all the books could be happening at the same time, there's hints that all the characters meet right after every book ends. The problem is, the books are TERRIBLY written. HORRIBLE. orbs and all. barely a whit of romance or whatever.
So the fandom has gotten together and decided, "that's trash, hate that" and remade the entire thing, with fanon introductions of various characters and all.
'The original books don't matter too much, they're supposed to be flavorless and terrible so i don't need to delve into that much. oh yeah i have this account!
update: I'm six (out of about ten) chapters into the Fae story! only five of those chapters are actually typed up, but six are written out! the rest are planned, but remain unwritten.
I also have a plan for the block game story. the worldbuilding heavily relies on a WONDERFUL story on ao3 called orphan's path, as well as one called soultide by FeatheredMask. It is mostly inspired by Third Life, a minecraft series on youtube. I might need to work on divorcing it from those, but it's pretty well-rounded!
