So I found this amazing picrew and it needs so much love??? Like, I can't speak for the amount of POC representation, but I feel like it's much more inclusive than a lot I've seen. There's the option for a character to have a bindi, hijab, turbans, Star of David necklaces, cross necklaces, and the HAIR options! Also disability inclusivity with the option for adding hearing aids and a wheel chair?? I'm in love and I'm going to make so many of my OCs in this. OH AND THE BODIES! Fat bodies! Bodies that aren't just thin. And faces that have double chins. And clothes that fit them!
Djarn really needs so much credit for this maker. I'm gonna see if I can't find a place they post regularly and tag it/link it once I find it here!
Edit: apparently their twit is djarn_ but I haven't found a working link to their account. So. T.T
This is what I imagine more or less most of my self-inserts look like. :)

for being a japanese website, picrew sure has a lot of character creators that seem to have no idea what actual asian ppls eyes look like??? there'll be 100% non-anime style picrews that switch their style entirely for the asian eye types to look like smth straight out of naruto or w/e. come the fuck on.

"Oh my God have they ever seen a black person in their life? Their skin isn't fucking GREY"
" Oh wow! This picrew has FOUR variations of a button nose instead of two! Such diversity!"
" Well it took forever but hey I finally found a picrew with an eye shape that isn't either east asian or eurocentric!"
"Oh my God why do all the curly hair texture options look like birds nests that's not what it actually looks like???"
" Why is this picrew so detailed yet they still couldn't manage to make the palms lighter for darker skin tones"
"Oh wow, 5 different jawline shape options and yet still none of them are mine!"

Having brain rot about some characters I made awhile back that I want to write a romance story with, so I made them in Picrew
^picrew link if y'all are interested. Highly recommend it
Anywho. This is Cassandra. She is an Autistic bi questioning Demisexual girl with a huge special interest in flowers. She is French/Canadian and was raised to speak both. She speaks French by default at home and English by default in Public. Her mother and Aunts run a music store together and she helps out with it. She is going to College to get a degree in Business so she can open her own flower shop one day. She also enjoys art, music, animals, fashion, nature, and exploring.
This is Dalilah, your average tired college student that deals with ADHD, Social Anxiety, and random spurs of depression. She lives off of Monster Energy drinks, music, and adrenaline. Her passion is a band she has with her friends, and she's taking marketing so that she can A: Get a job in marketing for the sake of paying bills and B: so she can advertise for the band. She's a lesbian and falls hard for Cassandra shortly after meeting her. However between her social anxiety and Cassandra's difficulties with socializing and picking up on subtle cues, it is difficult for her to do anything about it.
I love these characters so much and I also have other characters in this story but I should be sleeping right now so I'll info dump about them another day
