Society for A.B.o
This world has three different species — Alphas, Betas, and omega.
History has created a patriarchy where Alphas sit on top, Betas below them and omega at the absolute lowest. At one time they were seen as possessions, not people, and suffered greatly. Now in ‘modern’ times (which refers to post-Reforms) omega have been given limited rights. Society is far from perfect still, omega are regarded with an air of dismissal and while discrimination is illegal faces many challenges in employment.
Betas have made strides however, no longer locked into manual labor. They work beside Alphas in all areas of control (high ranking, common labors, etc) but have dominated the medical fields for practicality reasons. They make up the majority of the population and they are considered equal to Alphas.
Omega sit at the absolutely lowest of society, even with the Reforms. Those born in wealthy families are often treated the best with full access to secondary education. Family usually arrange the marriage or ‘mating’ to another family in order to create a relationship (business ususally). Others are often sent to Breeding Houses — a dormitory styled living facility. Omega are trained and then sold at organized events to Alphas and Betas. Despite the low social status they hold they are worth a lot.
Politics can often be put into two groups — Traditional and Progressive. Traditionals are resistant to change and prefer things as they are while progressives want to see the gap between species closed. Currently Progressives are new and radical while Traditionals hold all the power.

Welcome!
Oh my gosh you found this blog!
I’m your local 20 year old obsessed with the idea of an omegaverse and teeming with ideas. It’s been a constant interest of mine but I’ve finally decided to get some information about the omegaverse I’ve built for my own fics out in the world. I absolutely adored reading about others and building this world so I figured I would try my hand at it.
This is just my interpretation. Questions, prompts, etc. please feel free to send me a message and I’ll very happily reply!
