Stanning Jiang Cheng is what happens when you think the politics in MDZS are interesting and important
#jiang cheng#the untamed#genuinely though#like the duties and pressures put on him as sect leader make him put more stake in the political climate#and consider his actions in light of this climate#wwx's actions were political suicide#not only was he flaunting this newfound power but he was also siding with the people nearly universally hated by the cultivation world#even if he was morally making the right decision these actions were bound to have grave political consequences#which jc is well aware of and is a big reason he's so upset with wwx throughout the entire novel#bc we can see from jc's speeches and actions that he takes politics into heavy consideration. which makes sense given he's a sect leader#absolutely baffling to me that some people think that stanning jc is what happens when you think the politics are boring#pretty sure that person was confusing morality with politics#'jc messed up and that's important to acknowledge'#'he tried to be a good person but he did some bad things'#like that is morality not politics#something can be a great political move and be absolutely horrendous#anyway rant over. op you're so right#<- prev tags#YES.
