you know how it goes; i bought a pair of cookman pants, decided to make a single piece of cc that looked like them, then ended up with 8 pieces….none of which are what i set out to make. normal stuff.
∴ base game compatible, for masculine frames (with the exception of the cap, which is for both), teen-elder

Not So Berry Challenge 2.0
We’ve all heard of the Not So Berry Challenge created by @lilsimsie and @alwaysimming
Since completing this challenge not once, but TWICE- I’ve decided to create a 2.0 version that uses more of the gameplay that has been introduced in new packs since this challenge was created years ago.
Still ten generations based on different colors. In my own version, the traits, storyline, aspiration, and career for each generation are based on the meanings behind each color rather than the color itself.
Please keep in mind that I did not create this original challenge, but the challenge rules remain the same. The challenge rules have been copied and pasted from the original challenge which I will also post a link for.

Basic Rules:
Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.
The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.
Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.
Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Keep the lifespan on normal.
Generation One: Mint
You’re an angler and an engineer that really loves the color mint. You’re career driven but still make time for afternoons spent fishing in the sunshine. You also happen to love luxury which is reflected in your style and home. You only want the best for your family!
Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Materialistic, Jealous
Aspiration: Angling Ace
Career: Engineer
Rules:
Master engineer career and complete angling ace aspiration
Master fishing and robotics skill
Complete fish collection
Own a home worth $75,000
Generation Two: Rose
You had everything you desired as a child but you were always longing for more. If we had a workaholic trait in The Sims 4, you would have it. After a long day at work, you like to unwind with yoga and meditation. As an adult, your top priority becomes finding your soulmate to share your life with. You have absolutely no maternal instincts whatsoever but you still love your child with all your heart.
Traits: Snob, Romantic, Perfectionist

Master research and debate skill and wellness skill
Woohoo in 10 different locations (example: hot tub, rocket ship, lighthouse, etc)

Generation Three: Yellow
Growing up you never had a close relationship with your mother and spent the majority of your time alone in your room obsessing over the ocean. You just really love the ocean. You’ll do whatever it takes to get to Sulani no matter the cost.
Traits: Loner, Ambitious, Child of the Ocean
Aspiration: Beach Life
Career: Conservationist

Marry a Sulani local
Live off-the-grid in Sulani before buying your dream beach house
Never have any close friends or relationships other than grandparent from Generation 1 until the grandparent dies
Generation Four: Grey
You always felt that you were different. While the rest of your family was busy playing around in the ocean, you just wanted to be having social gatherings with your friends. However, you do not enjoy cleaning up after these parties so you need to find a husband that is willing to clean up after you. To make up for your nonexistent relationship with your parents you want to be there for your own children as much as possible…you also love filling your home with family photos.
Traits: Active, Slob, Outgoing
Aspiration: Party Animal
Career: Style Infleuncer
Rules
Master charisma and photography skill
Master style influencer career and complete party animal aspiration
Have three failed relationships before finding spouse, marry a neat Sim
Be good friends with all of your children

Generation Five: Plum
You’ve always been good at anything you tried. It’s been hard to choose a career you like so you try a whole bunch! The one thing that’s been consistent in your life is your love and fascination for Selvadoradian culture. You also like to move often and have a hard time deciding if your spouse is really “the one”. Basically: you’re an indecisive oddball.
Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Noncommittal, Goofball
Aspiration: Archaeology Scholar
Career: 5 Different ones!
Rules
Master Selvadoradian culture and herbalism skills
Complete archaeology scholar aspiration
Get divorced and then later remarried to the same Sim
Must live in at least three different worlds over the course of your life
Get to level 5 in 5 different careers
Generation Six: Orange
You’re the black sheep of your family and you were raised in a hectic household. You’ve always wanted to cause mayhem, but you’re not quite evil….just mean. You head off to San Myshuno in hopes of documenting your city life in the social media career. You really love baking and spend the majority of your spare time eating sweets.
Traits: Mean, Self-Assured, Glutton
Aspiration: City Native
Career: Social Media
Rules
Master baking and mischief skills

Must live in an apartment for entire young adult and adult life
Have twins, but only those two children (you may cheat for this)
Eat a diet that consists mostly of sweets and baked goods
Generation Seven: Pink
You long to arrange flowers and water your plants all day, but are too afraid to quit your steady job to follow your dreams. You’re very practical and you know the chances of making it as a florist are slim, so you stay working at your nine to five. As an adult you finally decide to pursue your dreams. You’re a hopeless romantic, but your unflirty nature makes it nearly impossible to find love.
Traits: Neat, Unflirty, Creative
Aspiration: Freelance Botanist
Career: Gardener

Have a well-maintained garden
Quit day job as an adult to pursue dreams (mid-life crisis much?)
Generation Eight: Peach
Your mother always taught her to follow her dreams. You’ve always wanted to be a civil designer and make a difference in the world. You also happen to love food and cooking! Well dang it, you can explore both worlds! Designer by day, home cook by night, you can do anything you set your mind to.
Traits: Foodie, Lazy, Freegan
Aspiration: Master Maker
Career: Civil Designer
Rules
Master civil designer career and complete master maker aspiration
Must marry a co-worker
Master gourmet cooking and logic skills
Must live in a different world than the one he/she was raised
Must own a restaurant at some point
Generation Nine: Green
You have always been fascinated by the jungle and you plan to spend much of your time exploring it. However, you have committed to a very important career in the military and must split your time equally between your two loves. You also like to make and upload videos of your travels. Your personal life gets a little crazy when you end up part of a busy, blended family.
Traits: Squeamish, Ambitious, Cheerful
Aspiration: Jungle Explorer
Career: Military
Rules

You love being a parent and a hard-working actor and you’re DETERMINED to do both wholeheartedly.

This challenge has been around since The Sims 3, so there are lots of different versions that have been adapted for The Sims 4. I’ve found two sets of rules that I feel fit my playstyle and combined them into one set, whilst making a few adjustments of my own.

This is a 24 generation legacy challenge, each one offering something new and different to the family tree. I see these ‘rules’ as a guide or suggestions, so any parts/ generations that don’t spark joy I won’t do.
I’m sharing this for anyone who would like to see my gameplay ‘rules’ and maybe they’ll inspire you to play this challenge too 🥰
And remember, the most important rule of any challenge, Have Fun!
