as a former tommy fanfic writer..
i actually am really disappointed at tommy's response to the popular love or host fanfiction. i've been recently made aware that he did NOT ask the creator of that fanfiction if he could publicly ridicule her and read her fanfiction.
tommy critiqued every single part of her writing without permission, hand-animated it, and let the hate/cringe train go towards her. now, she's made a video analysis and response to the backlash.
this makes me really sympathetic towards her - but she is also taking it incredibly well.
conclusion: tommy should've asked for consent before doing so because it WAS very easy to contact her. she had a discord (now taken down because of backlash) and multiple social media accounts. it was not difficult! i'm sad for her, angry at him, and glad i'm practically out of the fandom.

hello beautiful people! i have not wrote a fanfic in a while and i'd like to explain why.
1. sophmore year has been way too chaotic for me since i am trying to transfer schools for junior high!
2. i went through a really long writer's block due to mental health :(
3. i kept missing tommy's streams and uploads since i was busy
4. ever since my friends stopped posting, i felt really uninspired as well!
but.. i'd like to say that maybe i'll come back! i have a couple of fics in mind since he moved to NY. i know way more about that than brighton since i actually used to live there :P

you encourage him to stick his head into the eiffel tower
"Do it, you won't."
"I'll give you 100 gifted if you manage to pull this off!"
he does it and almost gets stuck!
in the louvre, he'd tell you you're his favorite work of art
you'd respond to him by saying that you were your favorite work of art too
he'd be reluctant to try eating slugs/frogs like in the vlog but since you were brave enough to do it, he'd try it out
around midnight, you and tommy sneak out of your hotel rooms and go and watch the eiffel tower at night together.
admiring the lights and how lucky the two of you are
wishing this moment would never end
then you realize it's 3 am and the jet lag was not helping either of you
