Berk is on the shockingly well-adjusted side of things. He loves his siblings, he does, but they mostly kind of creep him out a little. Manson is definitely the one he likes best and even then she makes his skin crawl because he knows what she’s capable of.
Very NOT inclined to murder, has no interest in it, no fascination with it, nothing. He’d like to avoid it as much as possible. He’s not as faint around the sight of blood as Fulton is, but he doesn’t exactly like it either. Which is ironic, given his abilities.
He was the one who tipped his father off to something being seriously wrong with his mother. He and Sera had gotten into a nasty fight wherein she threatened him so he took it to Chance who, despite everything, had never actually threatened Berk with harm before. During all of that, it came out that Sera had been abusing Robbie. Berk's tipoff is what got Robbie safe. He feels no upset over the loss of his mother but he does feel guilt over upending Robbie's entire life.
During all of this, he has clung to Luke pretty hard and is beyond grateful to have someone in his life that he trusts as much as he is capable of.

Pete died in 1997, early into his 20’s, after a series of complications following a nasty case of pneumonia. It was one of those situations where every possible thing that could have gone wrong did, resulting in lung damage.
Not wanting to leave his family, his spirit refused to cross over.
v: in another life (reincarnated)
Following the main verse, Pete’s spirit lingered for a couple of years before he decided to cross over and be reincarnated. In this verse, his legal name is Daniel King. He has no memories of Pete despite looking nearly the same (different scars being the main distinguishing physical difference), however, in the right circumstances, he could remember that life.

Similar to the reincarnated verse but takes place in 2057 following the nuclear war. Pete is in between safe zones, mostly scavenging supplies and trying to make the best of things until he comes across the next safe zone. Special note: this verse is connected to @bleedtheneonfromthebitemarks and their character Doe.

This would be who he was prior to Pete. In this verse, his name was James Thompson and he was killed in an accident. Like Pete, he also died fairly young only he was fairly quickly reincarnated.
v: you are the moon that breaks (werewolf)
Following most of the main verse only he was bit by a werewolf in 1997 on a camping trip instead of getting pneumonia and dying. He had no idea what was happening to him until after the first few shifts. He is currently on his own but trying to make the best of what he is.
v: will you still kiss me the same (vampire)
This one follows the main verse a little more closely in that Pete does get sick and put on the transplant list but a member of the medical staff had taken a liking to him and knew a vampire. Pete was too out of it to make the choice for himself but it’s not one he would have made. He tries his hardest to feed in purely ethical ways but he would have honestly preferred dying to becoming a vampire.
v: let me see you stripped down to the bone (witch/fae, most commonly used)
Unlike the other verses, Pete was never human to start with in this one. His mom was fae and his dad a witch. He was the product of a short fling and his dad never had the chance to find out about him before ended up in a secured medical facility. His mother swapped him for a human child when he was a few years old, so he doesn’t really remember her. His human mother was great though and she had figured out pretty quickly what had happened but had chose to focus on the positives and doing her best to keep him alive despite the difficulties that being half fae brought about.
In this verse, he is Ajax’s kid, making him the half brother of Dante and Myra and Brynnlie.

The youngest of Charlotte Daniels’s kids, Ajax was always in some sort of trouble. He thought the coven laws were ridiculous and thrived on breaking as many of them as he possibly could. So much so that the day he turned 18, he had his last name legally changed to his father’s maiden name (since Joel had taken Charlotte’s last name due to the legacy of Daniels name).
He knew when Ren had gotten involved with Robert that it wasn’t a smart choice. He had known right away that the man was a demon, but he had been intrigued. Enough so that he kept his mouth shut and followed his sister down the proverbial rabbit hole.
This is how he met Viola initially. They dated off and on for a few years and during their last split, he had met Brynn’s mother (another witch playing around with dark magic). He knew about Brynn, but he never found out about the twins or even Pete, who had been the product of a one night stand with a fae woman he had met in a bar.
By the time Brynnlie had been left on his doorstep at 2 years old, his mother had gotten wind of exactly what was going on and what he and Ren had been up to. The counsel had decided to strip his and Ren’s powers, rendering them practically human. The process had practically shattered his mind and he had been in a care facility for years after that.
After Charlotte was killed, Colette tracked Ajax down and began the slow and tedious process of rebuilding his magic piece by piece following a series of rituals she had come across in one of Cord’s books.
Once his magic was rebuilt, his mind began to piece itself back together, letting him slowly come back into himself. Colette’s done her best to catch him up on everything but there’s still a lot of gaps and he’s not sure how to approach the world currently, but he does want to see his kids.

Ren tried to be The Good Daughter, tried to live up to her mother’s expectations of her, but by the time she was in her teens, she was cracking under the pressure. It was around this time she met Robert.
It was bad enough she got involved with the demon, but she had seen no issue in dragging her youngest brother down with her. For her, it was fun. She wasn’t afraid of hell and she knew the risks she was taking.
Truthfully, there had been no real fear in Ren until she found out she was pregnant. She knew how Robert was, knew what her mother would do to the child, so she turned to her at the time future sister-in-law and asked her for a spell to conceal the pregnancy. This bought her enough time to seek out help in bringing her baby into the world and hiding the child.
She had heard about Ruby Hill through the grapevine and figured it was worth a shot if nothing else. Calla was born, healthy and perfect and Ren did the best thing she could have done for her daughter; she gave her up and went back home to face the proverbial music.
It didn’t take long for her grandmother to decide to strip her of her abilities and before it could be done, she ate the barrel of a gun in the middle of the ritual circle.
As for hell, well, it was pretty much what she had been expecting and she had been eager to please, doing anything she could to get back on the surface.
Part of her wants to find Robert and make his life a living hell, the other part wants to find Calla and make her into something harder now that Charlotte is no longer a threat.

Verv is what happens when you blend his parents but remove the violence. He’s a bit snarky, a bit reckless, great at what he does, and values being able to just do whatever the hell he wants.
He can draw energy from anything and can take the smallest, most mundane objects and imbue them with magic. Half the time he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it because it’s just so second nature to him. He is, however, absolutely terrible with time and is more than a little scatterbrained on a good day.
He gets on fine with several of his siblings and even his nieces and nephews, but he’s not overly fond of some of them (Valerian, Kai, and Marissa being The Big Three here, he trusts Chance more than he does them).
He met Wylie at random and was almost surprised he had stumbled across a Daniels witch that had no idea who or what he was. It did not take long for the two of them to start dating or for Wylie to move in with Vervain.
