Ditto Disasters are just an ask event like Pelipper Mail and Musharna Malice.

It's an event where ditto (and zoroark, as well as other shapeshifter mons) decide to mess with an unfortunate victim using their shapeshifting and illusion abilities.

Think of it as a Prank Event of sorts.

Water Pokemon Volunteers Requested

If you have an aquatic or semi-aquatic pokemon in need of a medical device such as prosthetics, buoyancy control weights/floats, monitoring equipment, or hearing/visual aids: you are eligible to participate in testing these brand-new designs before they enter official production. All of the current designs have gone through rigorous testing already and simply need to be tested by aquatic/semi-aquatic pokemon to ensure quality and effectiveness. It is encouraged you stay to observe testing to ensure your pokemon's comfort, however, both my assistant Audi and I will closely monitor the comfort and wellbeing of your pokemon during tests to ensure the pokemon does not endure discomfort or distress.

Testing will be done in Humilau City in shallow water, to ensure the safety of your pokemon. Testing may take a long time, so food and beverages will be provided. This offer also extends to those who have turned into pokemon (I think the term is "eeby deeby") who are also in need of medical equipment but can't find anything suited for the aquatic/semi-aquatic pokemon they have turned into.

Feel free to inquire with any questions you may have about the testing process.
