To me, Van Gogh is the finest painter of them all. Certainly the most popular great painter of all time, the most beloved. His command of colour, the most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty. Gothem is a flummox for me. I'm doing a rewatch and I've forgotten so many things
1) The best characters are not main characters
2) I adore Ed Nygma, Oswald, and Zsasz, the third of which had entirely too little screen time and no development.
3) I despise Sophia Falcone in every shape and form.
4) I actually rooted for the villains. Which was probably was the point. Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne were obnoxious or poorly written. I just didn't care. I wanted more Jerome, Jeremiah or Selena. Gimme Grundie any day.
