Starlight Kindred

I got an idea for a possible super form for Kindred (Sonic OC), and made this concept for future reference. He turned out super pretty!

If y'all have been wondering where I've been at, let me break it down for you-

In all seriousness, I'm starting on a bunch of small things for a bigger project I'm calling Project Dark Wood! Essentially, hopefully, I wanna make a Sonic fan-game. I don't have a lot of details, but I'm making some good art progress (scheduling my own deadlines has been a game in and of itself between work lol).

Currently don't have a queue and don't really plan on having a consistent schedule, but I'm still making art, designs, and little things alongside this. Regardless, I'm super hoping to share more of my work soon!

Have an idea for a future piece and needed to design a quick concept for a pink, frilly Eggman. His mustache is based off those twisty candy lollipops that are usually pastel colors :D

Made a secondary fursona because I wanted to be a dog

If y'all wanna know how my end of 2023 is going, to simply put it-

-actually freakin' learning Blender after wanting to for ages AKA having to relive UV editing hell.

Art may slow down again since my queue has inevitably run out. Current project is getting one more Sonic OC turnaround done, Christmas gifts for friends, and maaaaybe a little Christmas/New Years illustration if I've got the time and energy.

It's been very nice to come back to drawing in my off-time though! Currently just getting to draw what I love with no pressure has been helpful in a, without getting too personal, stressful point in my life. Missed putting emotion and passion into my stuff, and I'm glad I get to share things again.

I'm loving how my style is developing by the way! I am in LOVE with the dynamic shadows in my lines thank you, Rise.

I've got a queue going so if this shows up a lot later in the future than this post, don't worry about it, but I so wanna revisit Sonic creepypasta territory. I used to be obsessed with Tails Doll and a little bit of SonicEXE, and the potential for creature design with those two is lookin' mighty fine.

Fun Fact: When I was a kid, I was OBSESSED with Shadow. However, younger me mischaracterized him to hell and back, so I made my version into an OC (pictured in the right doodle page) named Sage. I married him to my old self-insert and thought I would never bring them back...but I make the rules so here they are again LOL
