The world of Odd Galaxy 

THE WORLD- Odd galaxy is a si-fi galaxy filled with planets, celestial bodies and more. All orbiting the sun with some exceptions. Its an ever-changing universe with loads of different creatures and beings. Starships are needed to traverse this vast universe with secrets and mysteries to find at every turn. As well as threats and enemies as well.

The politics-  Most of the galaxy is fulled by Wads, which is this universes currency. To get by you must have wads and a lot of them. There are numerous business across the galaxy to shipping fleets and asteroid mining facilities. The hub of all commerce is mission moon where vendors set up and barter and trade. As such there are many different Factions, such as Captain lillypads feet of pirates or the emperors loyal followers and army. As well as the guild to which our heroes are members of. There’s political unrest as citizens are rebelling against rule and are rising up against their unjust authority.

 The planets

Mission moon- Mission moon is the home for the task sisters and where our heroes go when they aren’t working. It the a moon orbiting the commercial planet. Vendors ,mercenaries ,pirates and the like go here to trade ,sell and refuel.

Commercial hub- This large planet is where our heroes originate from. It consists of large skyscrapers peeking over the skies. And is where the elite and rich go to do their business.

Asteroid fleet- This is a fleet of asteroids filled with gems jewels and valuables. Miners unionize here and harvest this area for it resources. This is also a dangerous place where scavengers and pirates take advantage of anyone greedy enough to fall into their traps.

Mushroom planet- A planet covered completely with mushrooms ranging all sizes. There is a constant turf war happening with the red capped mushrooms and blue capped mushrooms. Much life on this planet takes place underground in its vast cave networks. There’s a giant ravine going through the middle of the planet.

Ruined planet- This sandy planet is very hot, being the 2nd closest planet to the sun. its littered with giant statues and weapons of unknown origin.

Submerged planet- This tropical planet is covered with a giant ocean. With small continents and archipelagos lining the surface. Majority of its ecosystem consist underwater in varied oceanic biomes. Its also home to a gargantuan leviathan that lurks below.

Floating island planets- this planet consists of giant continent sized floating islands floating above the planet reaching into the clouds. Sometimes these continents will break, causing chunks to fall and create craters into the planet below. Its got a jungle type ecosystem where sun reaches more at the top and gets trickled down to the malnourished area below.

Swoop comet- The swoop comet is a comet that circles around the galaxy twice a year. Its said to be worshipped and bring good luck!

Dark midnight planet- This rocky mountainous planet is constantly in a electrical storm as the white whole in its center is slowly eating the planet. This area is also extremely dark and hostile. Its home to the swirl beasts when are blind creatures who track down any thing that has the misfortune of crash landing on the planet.

The sun – The sun is the giver of life in this universe, Theres a station connected to the sun which harvests its energy for fuel.

ODD GALAXY character descriptions below 

 Elio- Sun or Star humanized traits: Impulsive, Optimistic, Juvenile, cheery, friendly, loud, obnoxious, dimwitted, self-assured, childlike, Positive, Interests: Adventure, exploration, weaponry, sweets, Wants/Needs: Adventure, to find his family/ species, Friends and allies, Description: Elio is a scientific anomaly. Seemingly being the only one of his species (when he takes such a liking to Pinchy). He has no specified gender but identifies as male. He has a “can do attitude” and jumps at any chance to go on an adventure and thrill seek (often putting his teammates in danger). He sees himself as the captain and leads the group whether they like it or not. 

Ver-A (verr-uh) Robot or Android traits: calm, cool, smart, handy, big sister like, competitive, confident, chill, Perfectionist, Insecure, negative, levelheaded, Trickster, Interests: mechs, vehicles, mechanics, pranks, gadgets, Wants/Needs: Acceptance, Description: Being an android she has insecurities about not being considered a living person. She is the anchor of the team and keeps the crew from fighting. She’s also the team’s main pilot and mechanic. She’s very competitive and a perfectionist with a fine eye for detail. She’s cool and loose, often letting the team do what they please and allowing Elios hijinks, she keeps Deon’s insecurities under control, she will resort for tricking or pranking her teammates for their own good or for her own amusement. She’s an inventor, often making gadgets that aid the team in expeditions.

  Deon (D -on) Human traits: cowardly, cautious, arrogant, anxious, doubtful, worrywart, polite, Inquisitive, knowledgeable, scholarly, Unlucky, dramatic, interests: Animal biology, Environmentalist , wants/needs:   safety, appreciation, individuality.  Control, Description: Deon is the only son of famed star fairer Captain phoenix Rush. This gives him a trapped in his father’s success complex, wanted to not be associated with him and to become his own person (he’s still constantly referred to as Rush’s son.). Graduated at the top of his class, he is very knowledgeable on the various planets in the galaxy. He is constantly a odds with Elio’s nature and has a short fuse, but Looks up and respects Ver-A. He is the Teams main way finder and Chef. He is very Unlucky often being the butt of jokes or target for monsters. Deon takes his interest in environmental biology from his mother.

  Pinchy – Traits: cute, friendly (to everyone but jeon), glutton, loyal, quick to anger, poor listener, Astral worm (infant stage, pre metamorphosis) Interests: rocks (primary diet), Rock like objects, Wants / needs: to eat, Description: Pinchy is an infant astral worm. Given his name as they have a habit of clamping down with their strong underbite. It scuttles around on its front hands and has no gender as the reproduce asexually. (like how worms will give up apart of themselves). It has dog like qualities like barking (wark wark). Long naps ,alerting danger and being oh so cute and marketable.

  Captain Lilypad anthropomorphized cyborg toad alien traits: stinky, determined, spiteful, vengeful, intimidating, strong leader, charismatic , charmer, dubious morals, bad, short tempered, loud, Interests: power, money, trophy hunting, Description: Cpt Lillypad is the leader of the Galleon and the swamp fleet. He is a a great leader and commands his frog underlings. Together they steal, loot and pillage anything standing in their way. Lillypad is equipped with cybernetics and is deadly in a one-to-one fight. Despite all this he does have a heart and will show mercy .and is a very good boss to his froglings. Just don’t get on his bad side.

ODD galaxy pilot. Pinchy Introduction Concept

EXPOSITION: Episode starts with a cold open. The Odd galaxy crew are being pursued by space pirates. Why? That’s for the audience to find out later. Space Pirate frogs let loose a barrage of bullets upon a fleeting crew. A strange marketable alien is attached on jeons head. DR-1 Returns fire with her robotic arm cannons and Sun, a yellow fluffy alien taunts the pirates. One stray bullet hits a alien like container of rocket fuel and explodes launching our heroes into the air. FREEZE FRAME. “yup , this is me, I bet you’re wondering how I got here” trope.  

CONFLICT: flashback to the crew on their ship. They receive instructions and head to a depot to pickup the payload that needs delivering. Sunn opens the package against his teammates warnings. And it turns out to be an egg covered in scales. The crew are en route to deliver the package. But in Sunns warm hands incubate the egg shaped package, It hatches revealing a small alien creature. Sunns quickly names it Pinchy after it chomps on Jeon. Hijinks ensure as Pinchy caused mayhem on the ship. The crew arrive at a giant galleon of a ship. Dr-1 explains who they are and they’re escorted on board. Cut to them in the ships captains quarters as the crew admit that the egg has hatched. The captain of the ship, Captain Lillypad, a big bad brute of a toad with a metal arm and peg legs, grows angry with them admitting that the egg is the last of its kind of baby astral worms and that it’ll make a nice omelet. The captain calsm down and is willing to still eat the baby pichy medium rare or display it as a throphy on his wall of dead aliens. When Sunn stands up protecting it, while also insulting the Captian. The crew flee as Lillypads pirate goons give chase.

RESOLUTION: the story then catches up to when the freezeframe at the beginning started. The explosion takes out the power on that side of Lillypads Galleon. Trapping the crew, Pinchy then hops off of jeon and takes a chunk out of the door allowing the Crew to narrowly escape. Back on the Ship they make accommodations for their new pet, much to jeons dismay.
